Romney is a man of principle now. He will receive the strange new respect from the Media.
I remember when he was a brutal racist that wanted to put black people back in chains, strap dogs to his car, a ruthless homophobe who cut the hair off a gay kid, a vicious sexist that wanted shove women into binders.
How about the people on the right just separate the politics too. How about Romney is just wrong and what the president did was inappropriate but does not rise to an impeachable offense? I'd like to be done with it. But, knowing Trump he will come out and condemn Romney and the Trump versus Romney scenario will live on.
In practical a sense I guess it doesn't matter, Trump is acquitted until the next scheme. But this is a loss for the Whitehouse and a win for the Democrats who can now point too one man as being the single Republican with integrity while pushing the notion that Republican Party has been hijacked by Trump.
