I saw Rolla play Helias and I must say this team can shoot. And it isn't just one or two of them, you have to guard all of them. I think I was more impressed with the defense they play, how hard they play it, and how quick they are. I just don't think anyone in class 4 is going to get them anymore. If I remember looking at their roster though, if they don't do it this year, I don't think they have much on the horizon, looks like one of those special class rosters that schools get every so often. They have my pick to win it. I really don't think St. Charles, Westminster or Miller Career have the team to beat them, I haven't seen Bolivar, CND, Hillcrest and some of the others play, so I can't speak about them.

Rolla is a fun team to watch. When shots are falling they can score in a hurry. Bulldog crowd was there in full force last night!

You know when thinking about how you could beat this team, I think you would have to have some good ball handlers as they play a great defense. Hopefully you have some big men to go over the top of them with. And then don't get into a uptempo game.

Rolla is a great team and played a great game. I would not yet give them the class 4 title though. Borgia played a very poor game (credited to some excellent Rolla defense). But if they meet St. Charles at any point I like the way they match up with them. The wands brothers are a great backcourt and are what makes that team go. In my opinion Morfield and Teason are the best backcourt in Missouri high school basketball. (Keep in mind I consider justin Tatum a forward in high school) I hope they meet because I think it would make for one of the most "college" like playoff games we will see all year.
