Now that Rolla has the hall of fame coach from Salem on staff who coached his teams in the 80’s to several state championships. I would expect Rolla to start rising back and making some noise come districts time in the years to come. Watching the game and seen how time management wins a game. Rolla got the ball in the 4th with 10:30 or so left and held the ball the entire time and won the game.

Wonder if they allow West Plains to be co-champs. Like the have done in the past?

Probably not. They may both have one loss but since Glendale had Covid and WP found another game, it gives them one less win so that gives lebanon a higher winning percentage in conference and the OC is probably sick of WP being the winningest team in the last 6-7 years of the conference so I doubt that happens lol

They shouldn't. Lebanon won head to head. Lebanon is the better team.
They also lost to a team that WP beat 41-0 so lol.
I see your point though. In the past WP has been 8-1 with another 8-1 team who WP beat in the head to head. And the OC made them share as co-champs. I guess we’ll see how the OC wants to do it this year. It tends to change year to year.

Traditionally, the winner of head-to-head contest gets to claim the title in a tie, but many on here don’t give much credence to the conference championships anyway.

Oh I agree with the winner of the head-to-head being conference champs, I just know that the OC hasn’t done it that way in years past. But in some years they have, they’ve never been very consistent with it. I can recall at least two instances in the last 7 to 8 years, One of which did not even involve West Plains, where there was a two-way tie for first place and they declared them cochamps are and didn’t give it to the winner of the head to head.

this is also the same conference that about 13 years ago had half of the conferences starters from all schools on the all-conference teams.
I remember that year, because I believe they had three first team all conference quarterbacks, three second team all conference quarterbacks and three honorable mention all conference quarterbacks LOL
