What were the records of the Rockhurst teams that Kearney beat,,, did any of them even make the playoffs????
Heck excuse me I am delusional, Kearney has never played Rockhurst even with them being across town, how can that be??

As WC now has to play a set schedule which is so weak for the people in KC. Talent should be better in metro areas but for some reason WC keeps winning most of the time despite the hate. Sounds a little like Trump. Just keeps winning despite the hate.
Again, not saying it is weak per se, it is #43 so far out of 345 or so schools...
I love how you forget to add that the other win Webb had against Rockhurst they were 12-2. And neither of those games for Rockhurst were close!
Webb played Rockhurst at the right time. There is no doubt WC could beat any team in the state during those couple of years. I don't think the teams from the past few years would have won the class 5 or 6 titles.
Kearney can do anything they want. Nobody makes them join a weak piddly ass conference. They can easily be an independent and schedule some real football teams
Just because you think Kearney can do whatever it wants doesn't mean it's a viable alternative. That's like saying you can skydive if you want, you can, but to stay alive your only alternative is to temporarily fly at least 100feet before you hit the ground.

This is actually funny stuff, guys. I saw something about Webb catching Rock at the right time????? The 2014 Cards were probably the best team I've seen them field since.............
Hawks were Runner-up one year. But are they ever the same team at the beginning of the season as at the end of the season? Second year they were 4-6. But the Webbies will hang their hats on that forever as proof of their greatness, despite the fact if you rate all the teams from the past 10 years, they only have one in the top ten and two in the top 20.

Repeating myself here...........2014 was not the "right time". Rock had a tremendous team that year and the game would've been much better Week 9 than Week 2 but that Webb team was as good as I've seen them field since, oh, 2000-01 or so.

Class 4 FB overall isn't as strong as in years past. Why is a question best answered by someone else...........

What he is saying is that if Kearney, over the last 25-30 years had a good enough program to consistently go deep into the playoffs, that they would have ran into a bunch of very good Webb teams and probably got spanked.
Over the last 30 years how many semifinals has Kearney been in??? 6 maybe??
Over that period I think Webb has been in 21 semifinal contests.
If Kearney would have made 15-20 semifinal appearances so they played Webb when Webb had good teams I doubt they would have a winning record

Didn't we knock their starting QB out for the year. That might have hurt a little. I am just impressed that Rockhurst scheduled us since no one else would.
They may be a KS school but their best players from Missouri.
Last few years imo if a kid deciding to go private for football they have been choosing Miege over the Rock.
Almost funny! Ten years ago on here every post said the ROCK should be called a Kansas school!!
I was actually being ironic with that post. A lot of the best players on BM are from Missouri.
