One of the most celebrated series of contests in Rockhurst High School athletic history features the Bishop Miege Stags. The Football Hawklets and Stags last met in 1984; however, Coach Tony Severino will lead The Rock across State Line this year to renew this great Catholic schools' rivalry.
The Football Hawklets and Stags will meet at Dixon Doll Stadium on September 28, 2018. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
We are calling all the Rockhurst faithful to rally around the Blue and White. Bishop Miege has created special pre-game packages for adults that are now on sale. Student tickets will be available the week of the game through the RHS Athletic Department. The special adult pre-sale packages will pay extra costs associated with an expanded temporary bleacher system. An overflow capacity crowd is forecast for the game.
There are two price levels for special adult pre-sale packages: 1] a $50 premium ticket, which guarantees a seat and other benefits (only 180 available for Rockhurst fans); 2] a $10 general admission seat, which assures stadium entry, but not necessarily a seat (a standing room only crowd is expected).
The normal ticket prices at Dixon Doll Stadium are $7 for adults; yet again, a sellout is expected, so these seats may not be available on game-day. Student ticket prices will remain at their regular price of $5 per seat.
The Football Hawklets lead the all-time series 21-6-1. The Stags have won an incredible four-consecutive Football State Championships in Kansas since 2014. This promises to be one of the best, and important, games of the season, so come join our fun.

Isn't Webb locked in with Conference schedule?

You mean the over 84% accurate, 93% accurate on picks with spreads > 7 points Calpreps?

Hmmm. ROCK loses by 8 but WEBB by 13? Interesting. Obviously past head to head is out. Regardless of how good they actually are all three of WEBBs opponents were undefeated with atleast two being State ranked CJ class 4 and Joplin class 6. Wonder what the formula is? I mean the computer can't go " it was CJ and Joplin for petes sake"!

I am attending this one. Our regional sales manager is a Miege grad/booster. It will be lots of fun I predict...................and very revealing vis-a-vis the state of private school FB in this metro area.

CJ ranked? Lol. They barely beat Republic. Joplin? Ranked? They wouldnt make the Top eight in C6 in the KC metro. The only ranked opponent WC will play in the reg season will be Carthage .

You have to beat who you have on the schedule i get that...but WC's strength of schedule is relatvely low. Its not bad for C4, but still rated lower than the S of S for Kearmey and Helias.

What does head to head from history have to do with anything? One of the Rock teams WC beat was 4-6... One of the worst records in Rock history.

Mosports gets tougher and tougher every year to ask a simple question. Let me go as slow as possible. Information on a computer isn't personal feeling. It's stats and numbers. The computer as I said in my original post doesn't go " it's CJ and Joplin" it sees WEBB beat undefeated and whatever number State ranked opponent. JNET says "Joplin wouldn't beat any top ten team in KC". We all get that. I simply asked since WEBB beat ROCK head to head the only two times they played, since WEBB heat ROCKBRIDGE whom just beat ROCK the only times they played. And yes one of those ROCK teams was 4-6 of course one of those losses to Class 4 WEBB the other time didn't they make the Semis? Since WEBB has won STATE and multiple times at the end of the year has been ranked the STATEs number ONE team, hwhy would the computer figure ROCK would do better against an opponent than WEBB? There was nothing to get your KC panties in a wad, I asked you a question?

And Webb is 3-4 against Kearney? Hell, thats counting the 1989 game . 2-4 the past 16 years. But who cares? Joplin isnt ranked now. CJ wont be soon.
Obviousy WC is #1 right now . But dont give me crap about their schedule . it is a soft regular season schedule. It just is. Schedule Staley or Forst O. Throw in Blue Springs...go back down to Arkansas . until then, Carthage is it...

I asked a very simple unargutive question about computer compilation and you have changed it to slamming WEBB and it's opponents. Yes you are right WEBB and Kearney are 2-4 the past 16 years. You do realize WEBB has been to the State Championship 16 times and have been STATE CHAMPIONS 14 times! Yet you mouth about Kearney beating them 4 times lol. Uhm where were they all the other years? Oh they weren't good enough to get there, great point JNET...

I'll try to explain the formula. Massey Ratings which alot vegas line sitters use to figureout matchups in college and NFL use several inputs scoring, yardage, oppt scoring, oppt yardage, strength of schedule based on oppts SOS and above numbers and other more complactied inputs.

Calpreps just a dumbed down version that uses just scoring and oppts scoring and uses those #'s to figureout a SOS. To fpredict what 2 teams will score against each other.

The problem sometimes with calpreps is some years teams actually played one another and calpreps will still get it wrong if you put the matchup in after the fact. For example the year Webb beat Rockhurst 49-20 If you put it in those teams from that year they have Rock 26 Webb 6 as their predicted outcome. It’s like having the answer to the test and still failing.....

If Webb stayed within 13 of Bishop in a real game they are better than I think they are.

How is saying "Webb is #1" slamming them? The computer spits that spread out because WC's schedule is weak.

Webb is literally infused on every single thread. Web this, Web that, Web could beat the 83 Bears.

Webb and other really good class 4 teams can get up for one game. It ain't happening if you got play at that level 5 weeks in a row.

This year may be a little weak, but most years past really. Let's look at 2014. @ Rockhurst 12-2, Class 6 runner up, WEBB CITY 40-14.. @ home vs Harber 42-13, @ home vs Class 5 runner up NIXA, WEBB CITY 47-7, @ home vs Harrisonville 35-0 @ home vs Carney WHAAAA 38-7, STATE CHAMPIONSHIP @ WEBBs Home in the Dome vs Central 48-21!! Beat the Class 5 runner up the Class 6 runner up!! Yeah WEBB always played a powder puff schedule...

Har-Ber was the 7a runner up that year as well. All 3 runner up they smoked that year lost in the state game by 10 or less
