It's the same thing. Alternative fall season is spring. That is what MSHAA calls it. I will say spring from now on.
I follow high school football very close in the St. Louis area and I can't find the St. Mary's and Cardinal Ritter story. I know the athletic directors in the MAC conference that is Desmet, CBC, SLUH, CHAMINADE, and Vianney aren't going to play until SAM Page says it is safe. I read quotes from the AD's
David Kvidahl on twitter. I think he writes for Post Dispatch. Check his twitter page. That is where I seen it. I was surprised they had opted out, But I assume he knows. He has a story from the Post on there also.

Just In: If requested by Ritter and St. Mary's MSHSAA will allow them back into the fall season. St Mary's has been approved already to play fall ball. I think MSHSAA want's no part of spring ball. It is under David Kvidahl twitter account. And assign districts and classifications. Looks like Ritter was approved also they are posting open dates to schedule games.
