Missed my house by the golf course by about 3 blocks. All I remember from 2011 was the tornado and 100+ degree weather everyday for about 6-8 weeks.

Saddest day in MO history.I was with the Mo guard at the time hadn’t been home maybe 4 months from Afghanistan. Was in Joplin for a month doing search and rescue. I’d go to Iraq or Afghanistan a thousand times over Joplin.
