Looking for information on the meters to detect lightning in area for ballgames. How well do they work? What ones work best? What’s your policy on delay after an activation?

I thought it was 30.
I could go through their website, but naaaah....that thing reads like stereo instructions.

Raw I think you are right it is 30 minutes but I cannot remember the distance the lightening has to be before the suspend or allow. I guess that is why he is wanting a meter. I know our Junior high admin uses it for games.

30 minutes for outdoor events. Sat through my share and a couple of you folks' share, too.

Get my cell from one of your kids. I can give you a name of a service.

Those nights...
I remember one that went on and on...every time we’d rally and go out, lightening would send us scurrying back inside. Never had to do the “come back and complete the game tomorrow”, though. Ick.

Last year we had a game like that, we were playing the California Pinto's at California field. I think we finally finished around 1 in the morning.

Not poking fun because I’m as fat fingered as any. I was curious if there was an alternative spelling for the electrical discharge. Found this instead. If you get this measured.....Lol.

light·en·ing
/ˈlītniNG/
noun
  1. a drop in the level of the uterus during the last weeks of pregnancy as the head of the fetus engages in the pelvis.
