Do you think it’s perfectly ok for the wife of a Supreme Court justice to be involved in discussions with cabinet members to overturn the results of a presidential election?

Need more information on the Wife? Is she a lawyer, political scholar, government official, Lobbyist, etc. IF so and the Cabinet members are willing to listen to her view points then yes it's perfectly fine and legal for her to do what she wants as a citizen.

I would hate for a American citizen to be oppressed do the job status of a spouse.

I suppose you are 100% down with that as a ultra oppressive authoritarian.

Toots, if you think this is something new or only affects one party then I have some oceanfront land down here in SWMO I would like to sell you. We only know now about how people feel thanks to social media, thanks to text just thanks to modern tech. Being a history major many things happened that we know very little about.

With all that said I don't think it is right, it can look bad on so many levels. But even within my family my wife and my children don't agree with me and do things on thier own. Sure it don't look right but where does a wife's own beliefs stop and a husband begins? Look at Conway and her husband you don't have to have the same political beliefs to be married. And this ant' the 1950's were woman are seen and not heard. As long as she was not trying to interfree on her husband's behalf? But we just don't know alot right now. Always need to wait for more to come out.

Agreed but... evidence is beginning to pile up about her involvement in the 1/6 fiasco. (See the Mark Meadows email exchange) Her husband was the only justice to vote against the 1/6 congressional committee gaining access to potentially damaging evidence. Where there's smoke there's fire..!

He not only voted against but gave no reason why. That's not SOP.

the man would have voted against it if she was dead and buried. From what I saw she said he should look into every aligation of possible fraud, never saw her asking him to ever do anything against the law.

Funny how nobody had an issue with Gore not accepting the certified outcome of the election in the state of Florida when he got beat. Man took it all the way to the Supreme Court and that was fine with the libs

Oh my gosh! You can not possibly equate Gore to Trump. It is just not possible.
He followed the law and the Supreme Court said the state was wrong, but there wasn't time to fix it.
There were no rallies, and there was a concession speech.
