What Missouri high school football programs have been completely turned around due to coaching?

True statement. Please don't attack--I've read other posts about Bolivar before--but if this is true, and I'm not staying it's not, why do people hate him and glad to see him gone? Did they lose the small COC championship status the year after he left or did it take a year to lose it?

People from Bolivar did not hate him...If you read the Bolivar posts it was from people that had been beaten for years by Bolivar...No one from Webb ever gets in on the "hating" posts about Bolivar. It's mainly from Log-Rog and Reeds Spring. I do know that I just looked up what Bolivar's record was in 2002 the year before Roweton got there and they were 0-10...so I guess he did turn that program around 15 years ago.

People from Bolivar did not hate him...If you read the Bolivar posts it was from people that had been beaten for years by Bolivar...No one from Webb ever gets in on the "hating" posts about Bolivar. It's mainly from Log-Rog and Reeds Spring. I do know that I just looked up what Bolivar's record was in 2002 the year before Roweton got there and they were 0-10...so I guess he did turn that program around 15 years ago.

That 0-10 season was part of a couple year blip. The new coach those years didn't go over well. There was a mass exodus from football. Bolivar did quite well in the 90s in class 3, finished near the top of the COC many times.

I agree about talent this year. In most small towns there's gonna be lean years. Also some kids got booted from the team from what I heard. Including the Sr running back that was on the cover of preview magazines before the season. Discord and no depth is a bad combo.
