Kelvin Lee has been coaching @ St. Mary's 10-0 for 3 years and appears to building a MSHAA class 4 powerhouse. Kelvin Lee's next target will be to take down large private school SLUH 10-3 coached by one of the best, Erwin Claggett. I have this game a toss up with both teams having the will to win.

The third place game @ Meramec between two large public schools Hazelwood Central 8-4 and Webster Groves 5-2. Hazelwood Central is coached by Josh Martin while Webster is coached by Jay Blossom. This game is also a toss up. In fact, I have only 1-2 points separating the above 4 teams.

All four of the above teams are very good defensive teams, very difficult to run offensive against and I expect to see the winners scoring less then 60 points tonight.

I expect Kelvin Lee's St. Mary's Dragons team to play on a high level for many years. Coach Lee is on record to schedule as many top teams as possible to get ready for the likes of Vashon 9-2 and powerful Sikeston 10-0 who are stacked in class 4 districts 1, 3 and 4 with only one team advancing to the final four.

And you can say all you want about it being legal and it is , but it's not fair and you know it it's really gotten out of hand and it's time MSHSAA steps in and does something but as we all know MSHSAA has no balls and will do nothing

Train. do you know any high schools who enrolls students that do not live in their district? Some of our students live in bad area and can get a better education by enrolling in private high schools. These schools in St. Louis are enrolling students according to the MSHSAA rules. Train,, if you see any school breaking any MSHSAA rules, you should write a letter to the MSHSAA and complain. Breaking rules are simply wrong, unfair and should be addressed. Train, can we count on you to report violations when you see them?

I didn't say they were braking rule I said it was legal but don't sit there and say Lee brought those kids to St Mary's for a better education I'm mean come on

Train, I believe the students @ St. Mary's are getting a great education. Students @ St. Mary's must attend class and make their grades to be eligibility for sports however most students are not into the sports thing. Some of theses kids will be going to college instead of hanging out on street corners, selling drugs or going to jail.

Zumwalt South must be improving to play Sikeston 9-0 to a 7 point game. Class 1 Advance must be playing well to give class 3 ranked Charleston a good game. Who are the top five teams in SEMO.

1. Sikeston------class 4
2. Poplar Bluff--class 5
3. Charleston---class 3
4. Advance------class 1
5. Dexter---------class 4

1 Sikeston
2 Charleston
3 PB /Caruthersville
4 Saxony Luthern
5 Advance

Train and others, In a big game, would you really bet on Caruthersville? Look out for Saxony and Notre Dame in the future. They might get into giving kids a better education. Yes indeed, it's better to be attending college then hanging out on on street corners. Saxony has enrolled a couple of kids near Portageville or Hayti. Saxony is promoting education as a reason for the long daily drive.

I'm guessing Saxony and Notre Dame enrolls a higher percentage of their students to college then most of the SEMO high schools.

I'm sure Saxony and ND will but we are talking basketball ND is the worst I've ever seen them they need to hire a better recruiting coordinator because they have nothing in sight
