I still think 7 evenly divided classes would be best. No class would even be more than 48 and no more 1v8 or 2v7 district matchups.
Why keep adding classes, when the # of 11 man schools is decreasing?I still think 7 evenly divided classes would be best. No class would even be more than 48 and no more 1v8 or 2v7 district matchups.

What's wrong with 6? Not enough teams winning state titles?7 classes for football would be far more balanced. I don’t think we will ever see 11-man drop below 300.
Something I finally agree on you with. Class 1 should of been 48. This new Classification screw over South Shelby and Adrian this year. I really think they should divided All 6 classes. Look at Texas, Florida, and even Illionis. They have the best High school football playoffs in country. Missouri playoff system stinks. You have the best teams stack into the same district year end and out. Some of these semifinals the past 5 years has been shit. You have teams playing in semifinals when they’re not even a top 10 in their class. Get your act together MSHSAA, let’s make MSHSAA playoffs system one the best in the country!!!Class 1 should have been 48.
As it sits now somebody has a good chance of going from swmo to Memphis for a 8 v 9 game then maybe the next week going back for 8 v 1.
Bigger classes were coddled for too long no doubt. 4 districts of 9 makes zero sense for class .5 though. It's almost like somebody on the football advisory committee wanted it like this for some reason
What? I had Sherwood the 48th smallest?Maybe both still screwed over under that scenario of 48. I have East Buchanan as the 48th smallest school.
What's wrong with 6? Not enough teams winning state titles?
Is that ratio really even when its even? Does that ratio need to be even? That’s not what it has to do with. It’s fixing the ratio between the largest and smallest schools. Something Mshsaa seem to always mess up.
problem is the smallest schools are waaaay smaller than others. Is that ratio really even when its even? Does that ratio need to be even?
EB graduating that big lineman is a 'big deal. THey're still good but that guy literally changed games.Maybe both still screwed over under that scenario of 48. I have East Buchanan as the 48th smallest school.
you could have 8 districts pretty easy that way. What

36. Malden 173
37. Cole Camp 173
38. Sarcoxie 173
39. Adrian 176
40. South Shelby 181
41. Diamond 183
42. Mark Twain 185
43. South Callaway 187
44. Carrollton 189
45 Grandview (Hillsboro) 191
46. Highland 194
47. Monroe City 195
48. Sherwood 195

Brilliant!
Maybe pierce city wouldn't have to drive to kentucky to play a first round district game!
Certain folks were bound and determined to move good teams up. That's why they have this mess.Should have had 8 districts this year. Idk what mshsaa’s hang up is with 4 team districts.
Or they could have actually used some grey matter and made Class 1 filled with 40.That class 1 district 1 is insane. Why the heck are three bootheel schools on the I-55 corridor in a district with schools on the west side of the state!? Would have made perfect sense for Haiti, Portageville, and Charleston to be districted with Chaffee, St. Vincent, Crystal City. Guess Thayer and Cabool would have made the most sense to fill out that district but that district should not span the longitude of the state.

That would make it class 0.515?Or they could have actually used some grey matter and made Class 1 filled with 40.
8 districts of 5 teams.
Agendas.
A part of me hopes you get to make the trip to Hayti then back over there the next week. That would make it class 0.515?
Does Adrian make the cut, then?
Agendas..
Lot of trips to Thayer in the last 25 years. Hayti is but a mere hop and skip.A part of me hopes you get to make the trip to Hayti then back over there the next week.
The worst part is the folks that celebrate this the most still aren't going to win anything.
It's at least another 5 hours to hayti and back.Lot of trips to Thayer in the last 25 years. Hayti is but a mere hop and skip.
In the years PC isn't in a district with Thayer, they've been bumped up to play Class 2. Lose lose
40 is wrong too. Just split the 6 classes evenly and you don't have to worry about it being watered down to .515.That would make it class 0.515?
Does Adrian make the cut, then?
