A Young man took his life about 12 hours after the Blue Springs game. As a parent, this is an absolute nightmare. I'm sure the team is stunned, as well as family and friends obviously. I can't imagine the pain and anguish running through his mind before that. And I pray he is at peace. I never knew you Nick, and I will never have claimed to have known you, but from one Rockhurst alum, I say, God speed. I hope you are at peace.

Most importantly, for anyone reading this, everyone of us is loved by someone else, or maybe even a lot of people. And by something greater. Nobody is alone.

Remember guys, take it easy on folks, for nobody truly knows the battles and demons and struggles someone is going through. My heart aches for his family.
