Surprising as he had a solid summer with MOKan.Bears turned Pock down. Ford thought he had peaked athletically already. Pock really wanted to be a Bear as well. His offers and interest level had fallen as well. Went from P5 looks to Lipscomb. He took the best offer he had in UNI.
Interesting. I guess we will see who was right. I think UNI got a good one and will make MO St wish they had a different opinion.Bears turned Pock down. Not saying your wrong, but this is the kind of thing we here, a lot when a kid picks a different school. Add the fact that he picked one in the same league, and there you go. I guess we will see. He seems to be a special player and comes from an incredible family.Bears turned Pock down. Ford thought he had peaked athletically already. Pock really wanted to be a Bear as well. This comes from a very good source who is major plugged into the recruiting scene. Not saying your wrong, but this is the kind of thing we here, a lot when a kid picks a different school. Skill and IQ will play in a lot of places for sure. With the new landscape of ncaa with open transfers…. I think finding in state local talent is more important than ever.I find it quite interesting how mostly middle-aged (and beyond) pot-bellied white guys in SWMO are so won-over by so-called athleticism while solid, high basketball IQ players are "destined for Drury."
I'd take Northern Iowa's results over the last 20+ years in men's basketball over MSU.
I think the Bears should've followed the UNI, Murray State, Gonzaga, Butler, Belmont, Utah State, etc. model for the last couple of decades instead of whatever they've been trying to do under Hinson, Martin, Lusk, and Ford.
Why we have to bring race into everything? Sometimes it is about the system and where a kid feels comfortable at.I find it quite interesting how mostly middle-aged (and beyond) pot-bellied white guys in SWMO are so won-over by so-called athleticism while solid, high basketball IQ players are "destined for Drury."

Mox didn't even recruit Judd. Criminal. She was gone before she was out the door.Mo State having a rough year. Miss out on Judd on girls side and now Pock on boys side. At least they were interested in Pock, he just choose to go somewhere else.

It's not baffling when you acknowledge Mox was gone prior to being announced as the new Cavs coach.that’s still baffling to me. Didn’t even offer Judd, who was a top recruit in the state, who’s dad played for Missouri State(SMSU) back in the day and who’s mom also played volleyball for SMSU-WP I believe.
she’ll do just fine wherever, but I’m glad she at least stayed in state at Mizzou
Let's not act like Ford isn't recruiting Missouri players. Half of the roster is from Missouri or the suburbs of KC and STL. He just went the transfer route from P5 schools.
I get going the transfer route in small doses. The Valpo and the Akron kid can really play. You can sprinkle that stuff in and still be successful.Let's not act like Ford isn't recruiting Missouri players. Half of the roster is from Missouri or the suburbs of KC and STL.
