I know this gets talked about every year, and maybe already has.. but I'll ask again.

Hosting is decided by who has hosted the fewest games from districts to current, then if that is a tie in odd years the top of the bracket hosts/even years the bottom?

So for instance, assuming Lamar gets by Versailles, should Fair Grove win FG would host since they will have hosted fewer games than Lamar; but should Ava win Lamar will host since they would have hosted the same amount and this is an even year/Lamar's on the bottom?

Then should Lamar win that game, it's a certainty that they would travel for the semis since 1)they would have hosted every game, so anyone who hadn't would get the home game or 2) should their opponent have also hosted every game, Lamar is on the top of the bracket..

Am I on the right track?

I think record is foremost importance? So wouldn’t Lamar go to Fair Grove? And play Ava at home because of hosting reasons?

I thought all that mattered was how many games you have hosted from the start of districts to current, I didn't think overall record had anything to do with it.

Unless I guess you were saying that overall record is what determined your district seeding, which is what determined how many games you hosted....

Bingo sir lol But don’t quote me. But I think Lamar would host Ava. And go to Fair Grove.

if both teams have hosted the same number of games, the team on the bottom of the bracket gets the game. Next year the team on the top get the game.

also forfeits do not count as a home game

So what was last year? Bottom or top?
