Staley gave it all they had today just not enough offense (the story of large class FB in KC metro this year unfortunately). CONGRATS to Jackson! Very nice, classy large crowd made the over 300 mile pilgrimage from SEMO...........that was a LOT OF FUN today.

Thank goodness PC finished over in STL today...............still stunned to this day Smithville lost last year in a similar type of contest. As I have said all year this is a "house money" year for the Pirates now they will get invaluable title game experience regardless of outcome!

Odessa district is definitely kc. It’s a 20 min drive from Bates City to a Chiefs game. For comparison, it’s a 27 hr drive from Desmet to a Rams game.

Won’t argue that it’s not great but with the Class 6 runner up and the Class 5 Championship contender
I would say it’s as good if not better as any Class 4 school in KC played this year. With that though I guarantee knowledgeable WEBB football fans would rather see a few teams dropped and teams like the ROCK and Springdale or Rogers back on there.

They will be fine trust me. As for this year which Platte County will we get? The one who barely beat Tonka and lost to Grandview OR the one who decimated Kearney's season.................I'd very highly recommend the latter to have a shot this week.
