Platte Co 42 St Pius 7 Half

Glad to see my early season observations on Rocco are holding up.

This isn't a surprise to me. I thought they'd win by 21. The Pius vs. Fort score was misleading. Fort's defense was gassed, because they were on the field so long. The loss of their probable All-State OT just totally caused their line to cave against a good team. The receivers and tight end were usually open last week (but the QB was running for his life) so I figured if they brought that pressure against a healthy PC line, Rocco would have a field day with their secondary.
Happy to see a public school doing well against a private!

If he stays healthy he will be in the NFL one day. All the tools, genetics, coaching, etc.

Well PC better not have left in all on the field last night. Digesting and studying them a bit more they actually are not 2003 Kearney but 2002. The entire core of that team is JUNIORS.
I thought and not 100% sure that the D was a bit more senior heavy but maybe not.
