Pittsburg....

I remember it being a decent sized set of bleachers. Always got there early though so never experienced searching for a seat. Good chances of being a rainy mess so that should help thin the crowd a little.

It was also hvilles 3rd game and Pitts first. That makes a big difference. Ik Pitt has a stud de/te that is going to northwestern, but I think they lost their qb from last year.

The seating - well, there will be some, except for the one section of locals that will set on the visitors side and demand that you not stand in front of them, cheer too loud for your team while they are there and as a matter of fact they might even ask you to go back to Webb and let them have their special seating back.

Yea I remember a few years ago their obnoxiouse vans harassing a bunch of Webb City female students. An ex WC lineman with arms the size of tree trunks went and stood in front of them waving someone's WC flag in their face. They didn't say a word to him lol, Dr Langford asked him to please move and stop playing with them and the police escorted the Pitt people out of our bleachers. It should be fun !!

I believe I also read on here that Pittsburg was without their QB on week 1. Not that they ran single wing but the presumed #1 QB was out. I also read I believe that Pittsburg outgained Harrisonville in their match-up, not that it matters in the final score.

I'm not saying that WC won't roll. They may but I don't think for example Platte County would beat Pittsburg by 60+ points based on the common opponent Harrisonville so I'm not going to be terrible concerned with WC if they win but it isn't a huge blowout.

From the sports highlights last Friday night on local TV, it appeared Pitt has some pretty gifted skill players. I agree that in their week three they will be in better form, but Webb has things together much better now too and probably leads by two or three touchdowns heading into the fourth quarter.

I remember that game. It was an awesome sight seeing him waving the flag in front of them and all they could do was press their lips tighter. Ended up being a pretty good sized ex-player mob in front of them before the other fans were removed "for their own safety..."

Yea they were pretty mouthy with a bunch of 15 year old girls in front of them blocking their view.

That was the group of young men who held "Thursday Night Fights" under the streetlight in Alba during 2 a days.

Pitt always played Webb tough. I'm glad this game got back on the schedule. Will they still use the same trophy that Webb has had in it's case for a few years? Of course, it happens the year I move across the State.

Interesting how webb fans are always being wronged in other peoples stadiums. The one common thread is always arrogant webbies

Happens with the size of crowd the town brings. St. Mary's and Westminster were prob the top hosting programs we have ran into as a fan. Bolivar and Pittsburg are probably the rudest in my opinion.

One of the young ladies the Pitt crowd was yelling at was my wife and daughter-in-law so I don't think they would instigate anything. They told my wife to set down and shut when she was cheering a good play by C. Howard. They were pretty rude to her.
