Sent chills down the spine when I saw it posted, and thought I'd bring it here. Still can't quite fathom what happened.

Castro lost a cousin and a close friend this summer to a wreck down there, and he was gone for a week or so. I understand it is not the USA down there....but do they not have any rules on their roads? I've never been there, so I honestly have no idea. It sounds like the roads are a warzone down there

A car ride in Jamaica or the Virgin Islands is terrifying; I can't imagine what it's like in the mountains in Haiti and the DR.

If you have been to Jamaica then you have somewhat of an idea....only worse.
