...and here I thought that his handle was just a nod to the midline veer. 🤔Reads harsh response containing zero sympathy for lost nipples...
Sees the poster's handle includes "Freeze"...
Nods in appreciation to the consistency and rolls on.

Refresh my memory... who was the Syracuse coach that first ran the freeze option ? Was it Pasqualoni ?It's a nid to the old Syracuse play that we changed and ran midline before it was called midline. Nipples freezing off is just another option. Not one I would enjoy.
Apple, Amazon, Hulu, etc are going to enjoy picking the meat off the bones of Bally and other RSNs for pennies on the dollar.MLB news today: Appears that Amazon Prime has exclusive tv rights for the '24 season for the Tigers, Brewers, Rays, Marlins...and Royals. PPV just keeps on coming. Good news on this situation is, it appears my parents viewing of the Cardinals won't be interrupted. This will insure my weekly update on the dismal state of Redbird pitching for another season.
Sad but true..!Apple, Amazon, Hulu, etc are going to enjoy picking the meat off the bones of Bally and other RSNs for pennies on the dollar.
yet, set streaming records and had better numbers than last year... His numbers might be a stretch. Like I had posted before, I doubt I would have bought it, had I not already had peacock. But there is also part of me that wonders why we feel we are "entitled" to see playoff games for free. Don't get me wrong, I dont want to have to start paying. But, really, why are we "owed" getting to see the games for free?Well this is interesting.
According to Jimmy Traina with Sports Illustrated, the league likely lost 10 million to 12 million fans for the Dolphins-Chiefs contest by showing the game on Peacock outside Kansas City and Miami.
I will answer that question. We feel entitled to getting them for free because for most of our lives they have been free. Free as in the major networks pay to broadcast the game and make a profit by selling ads. Now they are realizing they can not only do that but also paywall the content and make money from both sides of this thing.yet, set streaming records and had better numbers than last year... At least the peacock production value is better than the garbage MSHSAA calls a broadcast.I will answer that question. For people who like live sports, it's getting really messy and expensive with all the various subscriptions, steaming, network packages if you want to watch a particular set of teams.
The only reason ESPN monday nights didn't cause an uproar was because so many people already had ESPN, unlike Peacock. People are already feeling subscription fatigue so this just hit at a bad time.
