Im curious, were there games played beforehand? I see some teams have records. Also, how were the consolation games decided?

There were 4 pools of 5 teams. Before bracket play each team played 4 pool play games. Top 4 seeds adanced to the 16 team single elimination tournament. The 5 seed from each pool played each other in a consolation game. Each teams final overall record is next to their school name on the bracket.
