Park Hill 24, Lee's Summit North 14 FINAL

How did Liberty beat Park Hill? Makes no sense .
Most if not all the key components of last year's offense graduated last May. They are a great example why you cannot judge too much from the opening couple of weeks. Now how does that Week 8 game hosting Staley look?

I went over to PH last night and watched the 1st half of the Staley/PHS game. The final score may be deceiving as Staley came out of the gate very flat IMO and PHS who was badly outmanned in this game, hung with Staley for most of the 1st half. Staley appeared to wake up later in the 2nd quarter and a late Int. return for a TD made it 26-0 at halftime.

And Staley played most of the game with out starting RB Jaden Moss for most the game. PHS has a very good defense and I’m not surprised they hung tough.
As for PH, they were trying to find there playmakers when they played Liberty. They have figured it out a bit more it appears. Still no running game for them so they need that to get going if they want to possibly make a deep run in the post season. Hosting Ray-Pec will be a start. I’ll be there next week to broadcast that one too

PHS was badly outmanned upfront. Staley's Oline which is top drawer simply wore down PHS as the game progressed.

Yeah exactly. Staley has some grown men on that O-line. Reuben still made plays for PHS. But they need a lot of help. Expecting Suckanick back in a couple weeks at QB. So that should help come District play.

What happened to him (Moss)?

Looked like a left ankle issue. Tried to keep on in the 2nd quarter but couldn’t do it. Was tough to see but it was the kind of game that Staley was fine without him. Koa Grace is a good backup RB as well. They have so many athletes they are good.

Stating the obvious but they need all hands on deck this Friday at LSW.
