They don't have Bader up there because of his bat. Maybe he can learn something next springAnd the cardinals will act like Bader and Fowler are legit MLB hitters. Fowler has 2 more years. We just signed 30 somethings Carp and Goldie to big dollar extensions.
The outfield is in shambles. Jose can’t play out there. We tried that.

Yes they do but Dejong is the only one for those 3 that is pretty decent defender. I have no idea where that question even came from, everybody that watches the Cards knows why Bader is in the bigs and it has NEVER been because he hits so well.I guess they don’t have Carp, Fowler or DeJong for their bats either.
It was a horrible signing by Mo. I honestly think the Goldie deal is going to turn out to be Fowler-esque as well. He won’t perform as bad as Fowler did last season, but the dude is obviously in an age decline. His analytics aren’t good. That Carp deal is just awful, and it really hamstrings them. It made no sense.
If the Cards pay most of the salary on both, there are a lot of teams that would take them. That's the key, paying the money. I think it's likely with Fowler. Really unlikely with Carp. In a perfect world, they'd both be gone. And I think there's zero chance Ozuna signs the QO, so he'll be gone. Honestly, if none of those three are back and they don't add anyone I'd be happy. At least Shildt wouldn't be able to put them in the lineup.I'll be happy if Fowler and Ozuna never wear a Cardinal uniform again. It's likely to happen with Ozuna. But I just don't see much hope for unloading Fowler nor Carp for that matter. Fowler has a full no trade and we owe Carp even more than Fowler. Who would want either one of them? Our only hope is Mo fleeced Boston with Allen Craig. Maybe he can pull off something for at least one of them.
