Yesterday was a perfect preview of the coming campaign. He is going to have a beautiful vaccine “by December” and millions of doses “by January”. And “next year” the economy is going to be great.

Everything will conveniently happen after the election. Believe me. We will have the best health care, cheaper than it is now and everyone will be covered. Just give him 4 more years.

Just like when I was a kid and Nixon said he had a plan to end the Vietnam war but he couldn’t tell everyone about it until “after the election” just trust me.........

Imagine if Trump had been president in 1942.

One day he says the war is already won; the next day that we will have to accept the occupation of France. He expresses hope in a death ray from Buck Rogers. He complains about rationing and blames Hoover.

And his good friends the truckers were blowing horns as a sign of love!! LMAO

In real life, you lie to me once and I no longer trust you. repubs never seem to get tired of the blatant lies. I don't get it.

Meaning you couldn't trust any President ever. They all lie.

Yes. Trump is just like all the other presidents when it comes to lying. Amirite.
All the same. Got it.

Man I sure am glad Sloppy Joe has never lied
Hell, Gropey Joe fact checks himself inside a 1 minute answer. Trump has his issues but it is amazing how bad the Dems don’t want to win. Hillary and then Biden...

You were stupid in your childhood and it carries on now. Some people are just born that way.

Yeah we really need the Space Force when out deficit and debt are already shot to hell. Whatever happen to that treaty we signed on to that said no weapons in space? We can destroy the world multiple times over from right here on earth. :(

Space is the future.

You don't have to like it or agree with it. You're just some old dude at the end of his life from Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Foresight isn't a strong part of your repertoire.

Our options are be prepared and have a viable presence or let China and Russia have the upper hand.

I'd love to fix the infrastructure. Congress won't approve that spending.

What part of "space is the future" don't you get? We can either get involved or let China control it.

We need to lead. Period.

The future of what? Why do we need to spend money we don't have in space. What can China do in space that we need to beat them to? Russia, China and the U.S, can all blow u the whole earth on moments notice and I'm sure a few others could also by Now. What difference does it make where the destruction comes form if that's what it comes to? WE should ALL be telling our congressmen and women to stop approving spending on crap like that and fix the country we live in!!

We got two conservative Supreme Court justices and didn't have to listen to Hillary's voice for 4 years and get another 4 years of rehashed failed Obama policy.

No mistake was made.

Could you share with us the failed Obama policies and on what results you are basing this judgment?

You're half right. We should be working to improve the country.

As for space, you're short sighted. That's all, I'm not going to try to convince you because no matter what I say you're going to disagree.

I could say grass is green and you'll find a reason to disagree simply because I said it.

You're wrong, I will always disagree with spending tax dollars on space junk and travel but it doesn't matter who says it. The average person ain't ever going into space no matter what shape this earth is in. They can't afford it and many couldn't tolerate it physically.

Further proof you have no idea what you're talking about.

We spend $700B a yr on defense, more than the next 12 countries combined, and face no threat from space. Waste of money, but national debt isn't a concern with trump and the trumpettes, as long as the wealthy get their tax cuts and bailouts.

You sure like to play the blame game. Was it a concern for Obama?

Enlighten us as to where he is wrong.

Oh please enlighten us, Capt. Kirk.

1. There are thousands of U.S. satellites orbiting the Earth. In a time of war, if an enemy was able to interfere with, sabotage, or destroy any of these satellites they could severely affect missile defense and guidance.

2. If you order something from Amazon and you want to track your package, that's GPS. If you use your credit card at the gas station pump, that's communication satellites and also GPS, cell signal, television signal, everything could be wiped out by hostile a tors who have been given free reign of space. So if the Russians or Chines have the unimpeded ability to interfere with satellites systems, they can affect almost every part of daily life and a huge part of the United States economic system.

3. Just last week a large chunk of space debris fell to earth. In China and India it is common practice to blow up their satellites, this (over time) leads to an artificial belt around the planet, not to mention some objects falling to earth which could cause death/damage. There are numerous ecological issues that could result from this practice. We need some sort of space presence to either eliminate or move space debris if for no other reason than they could damage our satellites which we've already discussed that we desperately need to maintain our way of life.

4. Russia and China are already developing a robust space force. India has begun developing one in order to not be left behind because they see the dangers (only some of which I discussed) of giving Russia and the ChiComs free reign.

Copy and Paste. Copy and Paste. Blah Blah Blah

Lots of "ifs" - we have 4Xs as many satellites as China or Russia and already ahead in the space race. Waste of money.

That's what projections are. Ifs. If we wait to do something about it, it will be too late.

That's the thing, you, 3R, and Duck will likely be dead in the next 20-25 years, this really doesn't and won't affect you, so naturally you don't care.

I don't begrudge you for that, but for the rest of us who have another 40-50 years or our children it's kind of important for us to have enough foresight to see what the problems will be and address them.
