Only one game in Mid-Mo Monday night...

Borgia 15-7 @ Vianney 14-10 is still on tonight ( St. Louis )

The big picker are giving the Borgia Knights little chance of defeating Vianney tonight however I am not with that group. Borgia can win this game but must play a great game. Both teams have played a great schedule but Vianney gets the edge on the tougher schedule since they play in the " Metro Catholic Conference ".

Vianney will play in class 5 district 2 @ Vianney. I have 3 teams ( CBC, Vianney and Kirkwood ) having a chance to win. I'm giving CBC a 3-5 point advantage to win district 2.

Borgia will play in class 4 district 9 @ Sullivan ( Pacific and Borgia are the top two teams in this district and the finals will be a " Toss up " game.

Re: Borgia 15-7 @ Vianney 14-10 is still on tonight ( St. Louis )

The Borgia game was a good old fashioned butt kicking. Running clock in the 4th.

Also heard big upset tonight by Sullivan beating Pacific. That's why they play the game!!!

This could be reasons for the Melt Down " ( Borgia, Pacific and others ) )

washMOsports, Were you @ the Borgia-Vianney game tonight? Vianney scored the first 20 points of the game. Vianney played a ' Box and one " and the Borgia Knights never knew what hit them. There is work to be done @ Borgia high school but two weeks remains to get back on track for class 4 district 9.

It appears two new teams are making a run @ the class 4 district 9 championship. Union is hot ( 5 wins out of their last 6 games ) and Sullivan got the big upset win over the Pacific Indians tonight while playing @ home. This is no big deal other then Sullivan will not get any sleep tonight and Pacific got their feeling hurt. Things will be back to normal during district week.

Did " Breaking routine " by not being in school today have anything to do with the Borgia and Pacific melt down? As we know sometimes breaking routine effects some teams more then others. Another explanation could be "Most teams " usually have a let down @ some point during a 14-15 week basketball season but can bounce back just like it didn't happen entering districts.

Another big upset Duchesne 64 ( 15-10 ) @ St. Charles West 55 ( 15-7. This is only Duchesne's second win in the last 12 years. ( It's gotta be the weather ) but credit goes to the Duchesne Pioneers.
