Back and back to stay....................hide the wives and kids you all have been forewarned because I am NOT Politically Correct! Now what was that stuff about how bad Kearney is and how C4 is a one team race????? Please refresh......................
If webb plays as bad at Nixa as we did against Republic there will be a 1 in the L column on Webb's record for the first time in a while. It was crazy talk then. Crazier now.
If WC fans are being honest they are concerned about going to Nixa and getting a win. Don't get me wrong I like WC's chances but injuries can make a difference and some in this part of the world are so conditioned to success that they think it is supposed to be easy.

Nothing to brag about. I've never seen much political correctness here anyway.Back and back to stay....................hide the wives and kids you all have been forewarned because I am NOT Politically Correct! And Kearney just called and asked, "What has Harrisonville ever done in Class 4 or 5?" (Mic Drop!) (Not besmirching their Class 3 titles...but...)Harrisonville just called they said "Who is the Kearney?"
I'm just being honest. I think WC has what it takes to run the table but at the moment I see Nixa giving WC a tough challenge and I don't think potential match-ups with Harrisonville, Kearney for that matter even CJ are going to be cakewalks.
If winning 6 titles in a row were easy someone else would have done it before now. This 1-team race stuff is silly and discounts what I think could be potentially strong teams like Kearney in November.
If WC had played Kearney in week 3 with their QB out, yes I think WC rolls easy. If WC had played Kearney last Friday Kearney probably would have won so let's pump the breaks and let the season play out.
You mean other than ending No.1 ranked and defending state champion Kearney's 20+ game winning streak in the Class 4 playoffs in 2010 on their home field and making the semis in 2010 and 2012, as well as the quarter finals in 2009, 2011 and 2014? No Harrisonville has done nothing in Class 4.And Kearney just called and asked, "What has Harrisonville ever done in Class 4 or 5?" (Mic Drop!) (Not besmirching their Class 3 titles...but...)
Yeah, making the final 4 a couple times is pretty good. You mean other than ending No.1 ranked and defending state champion Kearney's 20+ game winning streak in the Class 4 playoffs in 2010 on their home field and making the semis in 2010 and 2012, as well as the quarter finals in 2009, 2011 and 2014? Don't you hate it when someone distorts things with facts.Harrisonville has a 1-1 record vs Kearney in class 4.
Should determine the conference champEnough with Class 4...I'm ready for the Fort v. Staley Class 5 showdown.
Best thread ever.....seriously....Kearney's MLB is pretty fun to watch.
Wasn't the Clayton championship over turned due to an ineligible player or something?Of course it is relative...my comment was "what has Harrisonville ever done in Class 4 or 5?" And the comeback is a 1-1 against Kearney? LOL Then a listing of their two semi-finals and quarterfinals. I get that. It is pretty good.
Just for review, because I know everyone on here already knows this...after they went to six classes, these are the titles in Class 4:
Webb 6
Kearney 3
LSW 1
Clayton 1
Camdenton 1
True...stripped.Wasn't the Clayton championship over turned due to an ineligible player or something?

I was referencing the op.Seriously, Kearney will be hard to read this year, because with the exception of Platte County, they are going to roll all these opponents..and score 50+.
Enough with Class 4...I'm ready for the Fort v. Staley Class 5 showdown.
Only reason it's s close game is TyRod being injured. It was crazy talk then. Crazier now.

Win or lose; ty rod wont be hurt forever. They are probably not going to get stopped much on offense with him taking the snaps and he will be there when it matters. How many times did they punt against Carthage , Rockhurst and Har-Ber? 3? 4?
Going back that far cracks me up. Population of the town of Kearney in 1990 was 1,760...smaller than Lawson.Harrisonville vs. Kearney Bulldogs (10-7)
1987 19-17 win (Hville Class 4A)
1988 24-22 loss (Hville Class 4A)
1989 28-0 loss (Hville Class 4A)
1990 34-7 loss (Hville Class 4A)
1991 28-21 loss (Hville Class 4A)
1992 24-21 win (Hville Class 4A)
1993 20-7 loss (Hville Class 4A)
1994 24-7 win (Hville Class 4A)
1995 40-13 win (Hville Class 4A)
1996 41-27 win (Hville Class 4A)
1997 54-3 win (Hville Class 4A)
1998 28-13 win (Hville Class 3A)
1999 29-6 win (Hville Class 3A)
2000 35-10 win (Hville Class 4A)
2001 35-10 loss (Hville Class 4A)
2009 41-0 loss (Quarterfinals)(Hville Class 4)
2010 14-10 win (Quarterfinals)(Hville Class 4)
Without a doubt while back-ups have come in and filled in nicely it makes a difference when multiple players get hurt and the point is that they same standard should be applied to a team like Kearney.
WC has several good running backs but when one of your top RBs logs time at LB and then is limited at LB because he is playing most downs at RB it can make a difference. I agree win or lose WC should be more healthy in a few weeks and come playoff time but injuries can come anytime so unless fans have a crystal ball I don't think it is advisable to refer to C4 as a one team race. Even if WC wins out I think it cheapens the efforts put forward by the players and coaches in getting those victories and part of the reason that WC's run has been so impressive is that they have had to beat some very good teams to get here.
