It was crazy talk then. Crazier now.

If WC fans are being honest they are concerned about going to Nixa and getting a win. Don't get me wrong I like WC's chances but injuries can make a difference and some in this part of the world are so conditioned to success that they think it is supposed to be easy.

If webb plays as bad at Nixa as we did against Republic there will be a 1 in the L column on Webb's record for the first time in a while.

They may lose or not, but in Class 4 it is pretty much a one team race. My wife and kids said they didn't want to hide cuz they weren't fraid.

Nothing to brag about. I've never seen much political correctness here anyway.

I'm just being honest. I think WC has what it takes to run the table but at the moment I see Nixa giving WC a tough challenge and I don't think potential match-ups with Harrisonville, Kearney for that matter even CJ are going to be cakewalks.

If winning 6 titles in a row were easy someone else would have done it before now. This 1-team race stuff is silly and discounts what I think could be potentially strong teams like Kearney in November.

If WC had played Kearney in week 3 with their QB out, yes I think WC rolls easy. If WC had played Kearney last Friday Kearney probably would have won so let's pump the breaks and let the season play out.

Harrisonville just called they said "Who is the Kearney?"

Guessing you can't find any post that has a WEBB guy saying anything about Kearney being bad as I doubt any have seen them play this year. Let me and my unpolitically talking self be the first, if WEBB is healthy and at full strength make no question it's a one horse race

With their QB, Kearney is averaging 52 points a game. The game he was out, they still had almost 300 yards of offense. (186 passing.) It was just the fumble, pick six, and interception on the five that derailed them completely in that game from winning by 20... they had a 10-0 lead before the meltdown. They do seem more proficient and quicker on offense this year. Defense doesn't seem as stout though. That could be because they are on the field so much after their offense is scoring continually. Their opponents have not been that good...including LN.

And Kearney just called and asked, "What has Harrisonville ever done in Class 4 or 5?" (Mic Drop!) (Not besmirching their Class 3 titles...but...)
You mean other than ending No.1 ranked and defending state champion Kearney's 20+ game winning streak in the Class 4 playoffs in 2010 on their home field and making the semis in 2010 and 2012, as well as the quarter finals in 2009, 2011 and 2014? No Harrisonville has done nothing in Class 4.

Yeah, making the final 4 a couple times is pretty good.

Of course it is relative...my comment was "what has Harrisonville ever done in Class 4 or 5?" And the comeback is a 1-1 against Kearney? LOL Then a listing of their two semi-finals and quarterfinals. I get that. It is pretty good.

Just for review, because I know everyone on here already knows this...after they went to six classes, these are the titles in Class 4:
Webb 6
Kearney 3
LSW 1
Clayton 1
Camdenton 1
Wasn't the Clayton championship over turned due to an ineligible player or something?

Only reason it's s close game is TyRod being injured.

Even in a terrible game last week they doubled up the score on a pretty good C5 Team.

Probably lurking hoping against hope that just maybe there was a chance Webb would get beat and he could run his mouth. He saw Webb play a bad game and got up the nerve to post again so he could talk the crap if the boys get beat

Must be a sad way to live

Win or lose; ty rod wont be hurt forever. They are probably not going to get stopped much on offense with him taking the snaps and he will be there when it matters. How many times did they punt against Carthage , Rockhurst and Har-Ber? 3? 4?

I agree, and if Andrew can play like he did against Har-Ber, we'll be fine, at least on offense Friday nite. Defense on the other hand has got to step up big from last weeks play.

Without a doubt while back-ups have come in and filled in nicely it makes a difference when multiple players get hurt and the point is that they same standard should be applied to a team like Kearney.

WC has several good running backs but when one of your top RBs logs time at LB and then is limited at LB because he is playing most downs at RB it can make a difference. I agree win or lose WC should be more healthy in a few weeks and come playoff time but injuries can come anytime so unless fans have a crystal ball I don't think it is advisable to refer to C4 as a one team race. Even if WC wins out I think it cheapens the efforts put forward by the players and coaches in getting those victories and part of the reason that WC's run has been so impressive is that they have had to beat some very good teams to get here.

Going back that far cracks me up. Population of the town of Kearney in 1990 was 1,760...smaller than Lawson.

With their QB in, Kearney is scoring 52 points a game. With him out, they outgained their opponent 2-1 in yards an first downs--and they had the them down 10-0 in the 2Q. However in the LN game, their back-up 1) fumbled the ball on their own 20. 2) Threw a pick on the opponents 5. 3) Threw a pick-6. Granted: their defense should have stepped up better, and didn't. Kearney loses their QB, their offense will be good enough to probably go 10-2, and win a couple playoff games. The offense centers around the QB and his option threats. Not the same team without that player. Kearney doesn't play anyone that good except Platte City...and then maybe the 3rd round of the playoffs.
