Don't be blind by your partisan blinders. You're being taken to the cleaners and you're liking it.
Sure. He's the reason oil prices are up world wide. But isn't it Biden's fault ???
So Big Oil has us by the kahunas and we should continue kissing ass to the wealthiest industry in the history of mankind so they can continue to raked in billions in profits infinitely??Yes of course the oil companies are making a profit while they can. Because Biden is overtly attacking the industry with his policies.
Making as much profit is what they are suppose to do for their shareholders and investors.
It's Biden's job to grease the wheels of Big Energy to makes sure they are viable long term as a business model, make a huge profit with minimal regulation and taxation so they can provide Cheap Energy to the masses. If you mess with any of these factors then the response is High Prices at the pump. Not complicated. So yes Biden's fault.
He says they will raise their prices if we tax them. Bahahahahaha They are currently gouging the hell out of us and making gargantuan profits because they can get away with it. MG knows nothing. So Big Oil has us by the kahunas and we should continue kissing ass to the wealthiest industry in the history of mankind so they can continue to raked in billions in profits infinitely??
You don't have to kiss anything at all. They are suppose to rake in Billions of Profits for their investors and stake holders. You have oil and energy because they make Billions in Profits. Why he envy and jealousy? If you hate the product so much invest in some Solar Panels, Wind turbines, get a EV and start charging up. Or get a Bike or walk. Nobody is forcing you to buy fuel.So Big Oil has us by the kahunas and we should continue kissing ass to the wealthiest industry in the history of mankind so they can continue to raked in billions in profits infinitely??
You don't think they will not raise the price more if you start taxing them more? So they will gouge us with a lower tax rate but once the govt taxes them more they will stop that practice? Man clearly you don't understand how business work, how Greed works or even basic human nature. He says they will raise their prices if we tax them. Bahahahahaha They are currently gouging the hell out of us and making gargantuan profits because they can get away with it. MG knows nothing.
nobody makes you buy gasoline, when the price gets to a point that it isnt worth it to you then stop buying it.We already are kissing ass to Big Oil - we subsidize the gas and oil industries to the tune of $188 Billion a year with OUR tax dollars for their shareholders to rake in $$$ Billions. And they still gouge us at the pump!!
The Biden Administration is solving all of our economic problems for us, it's in fact their priority, and we are just too ungrateful to notice.
When the Govt spews BS all day and enacts insane policies that effect the average joe then a bit of hyperbole is going to seep through.I'm just glad that logical reasoning rather than hyperbole is winning the day here.
The problem is that fossil fuels won’t last forever…or even that much longer in the grand scheme of things. That is not in question. Of course, I have less and less confidence that humans will make it that far before we destroy ourselves, so it may be moot anyway. When the Govt spews BS all day and enacts insane policies that effect the average joe then a bit of hyperbole is going to seep through.
Clearly Biden is inept or his String Pullers are inept. They are trying as they have stated openly, to push and shove America away from Fossil fuels at a insane rate. The issue is their goal is not obtainable without a massive amount of economic suffering in America. I'm sure they believe this is justified, comparing the economic suffering of this economic downturn to other parts of the globe and it is minimal. They have stated as much.
But with that said a huge portion of America is not into the global community and only on board with the Green Movement as long as it doesn't effect their lifestyle.
I agree infrastructure needs fixing....but none of these bills ever do. Both sides give lip service to it then load the bill up with BS PORK.I think it is just poor timing for the Green Movement. Get the post covid economy going again. There are plenty of roads, bridges, ports, and other infrastructure jobs that we need to fix before we start throwing big money at green tech. We continue to spend spend spend with no regard for national debt - both parties!
I am for making more green choices available, but it has to be gradual. Sure wish I had a hybrid right vehicle right now. A good, affordable hybrid and all the necessary infrastructure throughout the country would be a good place to start with our green tech money and efforts.
I can count 5 bridges within 100 miles of each other in my neck of the woods that will be replaced this summer. One right here in Poplar Bluff and another about 5 miles north of town on W highway. They will also start on another extension of the 4-lane to the south of P.B. on 67 highway.I agree infrastructure needs fixing....but none of these bills ever do. Both sides give lip service to it then load the bill up with BS PORK.
Slow movement to better and more efficient green energy is the only logical choice...but clearly that is not the path that many want to take as the try and ram it down the American throats.
Small sample size......that does not reflect the over all decline of our infrastructure on a wide scale. If those bills worked the decline would not be a issue.I can count 5 bridges within 100 miles of each other in my neck of the woods that will be replaced this summer. One right here in Poplar Bluff and another about 5 miles north of town on W highway. They will also start on another extension of the 4-lane to the south of P.B. on 67 highway.
I never said NO infrastructure was being fixed. My point was that after trillions and trillions have been spent the numbers and studies show the problem isn't that much better. At this point we should be on the upswing.Same here, many bridges and highways being repaired. MG hates to hear it.
Only places gas is 'cheap ' is in countries that nationalize their oil
there was a worldwide glut of oil and the price was below zero
Dang how did we not see that at the gas pumps? I thought the price of gas was directly related to the price of a barrel of oil.there was a worldwide glut of oil and the price was below zero
And fair wages for workers and suppliers and a boom to the economic markets is also removed from the puzzle as well......I'm sure that living in Nigeria, Mexico, Russia, Iran, Venezuela etc. and parroting their economic systems is appealing to you.Only places gas is 'cheap ' is in countries that nationalize their oil
Hmmm...what part of the puzzle does that remove? OH WAIT!! Oil companies?????
Oil companies are slamming you like an alternative movie star and you're enjoying it and defending them. And fair wages for workers and suppliers and a boom to the economic markets is also removed from the puzzle as well......I'm sure that living in Nigeria, Mexico, Russia, Iran, Venezuela etc. and parroting their economic systems is appealing to you.
The rest of us are not so keen on turning America into a backwater second rate country.
Ahem Trump begged SA and his other islam buddies to stop drilling.Dang how did we not see that at the gas pumps? I thought the price of gas was directly related to the price of a barrel of oil.
I have fully stated that Oil companies along with Food Companies etc. are making huge Profits of the current situation.Oil companies are slamming you like an alternative movie star and you're enjoying it and defending them.
Your paper thin analysis of the situation is disingenuous....you know full well there was a glut of oil and that slowing down production kept the Market from crashing and destabilizing a whole host of other area's.Ahem Trump begged SA and his other islam buddies to stop drilling.
Voila higher prices.
Hmmm..
