Yes of course the oil companies are making a profit while they can. Because Biden is overtly attacking the industry with his policies.
Making as much profit is what they are suppose to do for their shareholders and investors.
It's Biden's job to grease the wheels of Big Energy to makes sure they are viable long term as a business model, make a huge profit with minimal regulation and taxation so they can provide Cheap Energy to the masses. If you mess with any of these factors then the response is High Prices at the pump. Not complicated. So yes Biden's fault.

Why he envy and jealousy? If you hate the product so much invest in some Solar Panels, Wind turbines, get a EV and start charging up. Or get a Bike or walk. Nobody is forcing you to buy fuel.

I can tell you this when we sell cattle to individuals we build in every penny of cost and them some. Any price increase no matter how small get's factored in, property taxes go up we increase the price per animal, feed, fuel, fertilizer etc. goes up.
We are in the cattle business and if You want Beef raised hormone free and Grass fed you have to pay the Piper. I don't give a darn about you, your children, or your Spouse, having Allergies, autoimmune issues or any other health issues and needing protein that is free and clear. I don't cut the price because of a your situation no matter what.... pay what I demand or you can try and find a better deal or product down the road.

nobody makes you buy gasoline, when the price gets to a point that it isnt worth it to you then stop buying it.
I dont see anyone complaining about a gallon of milk or a gallon of sweet Tea being over$4 a gallon, why are you so upset that gasoline retails at $4.

Clearly Biden is inept or his String Pullers are inept. They are trying as they have stated openly, to push and shove America away from Fossil fuels at a insane rate. The issue is their goal is not obtainable without a massive amount of economic suffering in America. I'm sure they believe this is justified, comparing the economic suffering of this economic downturn to other parts of the globe and it is minimal. They have stated as much.
But with that said a huge portion of America is not into the global community and only on board with the Green Movement as long as it doesn't effect their lifestyle.
I think it is just poor timing for the Green Movement. Get the post covid economy going again. There are plenty of roads, bridges, ports, and other infrastructure jobs that we need to fix before we start throwing big money at green tech. We continue to spend spend spend with no regard for national debt - both parties!
I am for making more green choices available, but it has to be gradual. Sure wish I had a hybrid right vehicle right now. A good, affordable hybrid and all the necessary infrastructure throughout the country would be a good place to start with our green tech money and efforts.

The problem is that fossil fuels won’t last forever…or even that much longer in the grand scheme of things. That is not in question. Of course, I have less and less confidence that humans will make it that far before we destroy ourselves, so it may be moot anyway.
I agree that fossil fuels will run out.....in the end we will have to embrace Nuclear energy. It's the only legit alternative, unless some massive scientific break through comes about. But Wind Turbines and Solar isn't going to cut it. I think the elites are all to happy to limit and withhold energy from the rank and file society and make the general peasant massively adjust their lifestyles to go green to save the planet.

I agree infrastructure needs fixing....but none of these bills ever do. Both sides give lip service to it then load the bill up with BS PORK.
Slow movement to better and more efficient green energy is the only logical choice...but clearly that is not the path that many want to take as the try and ram it down the American throats.
I can count 5 bridges within 100 miles of each other in my neck of the woods that will be replaced this summer. One right here in Poplar Bluff and another about 5 miles north of town on W highway. They will also start on another extension of the 4-lane to the south of P.B. on 67 highway.

Small sample size......that does not reflect the over all decline of our infrastructure on a wide scale. If those bills worked the decline would not be a issue.
Your example would be like me saying my Local Ryans s is doing a killer business while the Parent company is shuttering 100's of locations and filing for bankruptcy.
I never said NO infrastructure was being fixed. My point was that after trillions and trillions have been spent the numbers and studies show the problem isn't that much better. At this point we should be on the upswing.
I think you and me and others want the Infrastructure addressed and fixed. My issues is that when you look a the Spending break down those bills spend more on the Pork and other issues than fixing Bridges, highways and the Grid.
I've posted links to the Breakdown before and the Bloat and waste in those bills. The waste does sicken me. I guess you guys are OK with that as long as few local bridges are fixed, you get the win and all is good while other area's keep falling apart.

We have lower gas prices because of a less socialistic market economy and lower fuel taxes.....12/13% compared to many countries that have 60% taxes.
If the Dem's could they would APE the European tax rate on fuel...they are trying to do that by fearmongering the push to Green Energy with no viable replacement for fossil fuel.

Your paper thin analysis of the situation is disingenuous....you know full well there was a glut of oil and that slowing down production kept the Market from crashing and destabilizing a whole host of other area's.
