They don't know what they get in heaven, they just know it's better than the hell they live in on earth. The same can be said for the men. lolCow what part of they will hate more the more we try to occupy their lands? us going into and occupying Iraq is what stirred up this whole mess and crated ISIS out Iraqi military people we put out of a job. I think it's very short sighted and it will not fix terrorism. Our actions in Afghanistan and Iraq made a lot of people hate us. Imagine if we were in more countries for decades with more troops.
And a lot of how we "fixed" terrorism was by giving terrorists an easier target. Why attack the US homeland when you can go blow up a hummer with an IED in your own backyard?
There is a reason the military is not fired up for such a course of action - they know what happened last time.

I must have made a mistake somewhere. I think we have too many troops in there right now. Sorry Miller for the confusion. Let me make myself clear. I am against sending any of our young men and women into a religious civil war that can not be won! Hope that clears things up for you..
1) Our drone strikes and continued presence in the region aren't making us any new friends, and I don't think any supports not carrying out drone strikes against non-American terrorists. We should probably accept people are not going to like us in the Middle East.
2) Terrorists hate us for a much broader reason than military actions. They hate us because we are the infidels and they are on a mission from God to destroy us. Do you think we are ever going to win over people with religious convictions like that? Do you generally have productive conversations with ideological people, especially religious people? Again, the ship has sailed on these people liking us.
My overarching point is that the Middle eastern terrorism is not going to be solved by any of the approaches that we currently are willing to commit to. We can't make peace in the Middle East by just committing air strikes and training soldiers.
The enemy is willing to die for their cause. We are not.
