Yes. Maybe more like 1-2 TDs, but I still think they would beat Battle. Who has Battle beaten to make you think otherwise?Do you still believe Raytown will beat Battle by 2-3 TDs? Just curious, thanks.
I have to admit this was before I knew they lost to Jeff City but that is a C6 traditional power. The one game that sticks out is a fairly competitive loss to Vianney, the defending C5 champs. Lost a close one to a very good, ranked C6 Rock Bridge as well.Yes. Maybe more like 1-2 TDs, but I still think they would beat Battle. Who has Battle beaten to make you think otherwise?
I would agree on the Rock Bridge game, slightly agree on the Vianny game (Battle scored at least 14, May have been more, I can't remember in the 4th, making it look closer than it actually was) and disagree on Jeff City. They are a mediocre class 6 that hasn't been a power in a several years. They have 3 wins this year, McCluer North and Hickman, who have a combined record of 1-12 (Hickman beat Southeast...)I have to admit this was before I knew they lost to Jeff City but that is a C6 traditional power. Raytown losing last night to C5 lower tier St. Joe Central in OT again shows what I saw last week. They lack depth and physicality on their lines.
The total wild card in that district is Smith-Cotton. Next Friday vs. my C3 title favorite Center may indicate more about the Tigers heading into district play.
