I went with Gallatin for the same reason. But, on a Halloween night, wouldn't it have been great for the game to be played at the cemetery bowl in Maysville.

I’ve been to a couple games at the cemetery bowl in October, but not on Halloween.
It’s too bad king city had to go back to 8 man.
King City/Maysville rivalry was a BIG deal.
Another good classic GRC rivalry was Tarkio/Rock Port.
I do want to post an FYI about an in and out of league mixed conference like the expanded GRC: Milan, Putnam County, Brookfield and Marceline are technically "out of region" ergo when they play (with the exception of the annual Bell Game) I do not post those games even if (this has been the case more than once this season) the game looks competitive. I may look into changing this long standing rule next year i.e. doing contest by conference as well as region just don't want to expand to the point this becomes half of the State. Keeping up with that many teams would be near impossible (already really stretching it today).

Im wondering if Raytown can surprise Neosho. I know they shouldn't but can that team come together and play 1x as a team with the talent they have.
I'll also be watching how Webb handles Belton. If they don't completely walk them then I'll feel better about next week because right now I'm worried lol
I actually think they could hang with them long trip aside. Remember last year's Webb-Belton quarter? I expect similar.
ChaoticFan, this may be of interest to you but before the GRC rivalry between Tarkio/Rock Port, it was a 275 rivalry beginning in 65 until the late 80s when the rest of that conference went 8 man. Before that they were in a Northwest Missouri conference beginning in 1945 with Maryville and Savannah among others.
I'm with ya on raytown they are so up and down (see the back to back results from excelsior springs and Ruskin. Should have been similar but they wernt)

I knew they were in the 275 back in the day for all sports(like they are now) but didn’t know if they left in 88 when the e other schools went 8 man or if they left before that.
