The numbers can't change much until we do a lot more testing, then we'll find it's pretty wide spread already.

That is correct testing will change the numbers, although as I stated before one of the CDC models...not released to press or public suggest that 60-80% of the public has already been exposed.

I will give me as a example. My GF was exposed to the first two cases that tested positive in this county, as was everyone in the Office, two Police officers there for other reasons etc etc. I was then Exposed, my daughter, my Friends, my co-workers at the hospital, the people at all the stores I went to, the Restaurants, gas stations, movie theaters, etc. etc. We took Grocery's to her Grandma and Uncle a hour away where they live. Good Gosh a Pizza Hut delivery guy was exposed to me by mistake came to wrong house.

Now expand that out and you can see what I mean. The exposure rate in this country could be very, very high.

So why would you say nothing has really changed? What we don't know is what is changing and they want to cut down the exposure as much as possible. Some they have been exposed won't get it, some will have mild case and some be severe. Does that mean we should not try to curtail further exposure as much as possible? I haven't heard of anyone in this town that has been exposed but I'm sure some may have been and don't even know to get. I'd bet there are NO tests here to find out if someone goes to urgent care with what seems to be the flu but might this new thang.

Nothing in that post is BS. My GF RN/Microbiology degree works on a CDC task force at the Local level. She and another RN tested the first case in this County. She was exposed, the person who tested positive exposed many more people in the waiting room, two police officers there for other reasons etc. But of course you just want to say BS based on your warped sense of view point....you have the right to it but you do expose yourself as being deficient in many many ways.

I must be missing something. I still don't get the panic. The numbers just don't add up to pandemonium.
The numbers worldwide just don't seem that high compared to everyday illnesses. Higher? Yes, but this is being treated like it's anthrax. Right now, the odds are very high you have been exposed or will be exposed to C-19 and may or may not know if you have it. Even if you are in the most vulnerable categories, the odds are very high you will survive.

In one breath all the Dems says the number are higher if we were to test everybody, and then in another when one poster says yes they are it is called BS.

I think those exposed are higher and I think many have had it and never knew it. There was a lady from Seattle who was interviewed, said she came down sick all of her flu test were negative along with Strep. She got better but was never tested her for Corona. She later enlisted into a flu study and when they tested her she was positive. She said no telling how many people she came in contact and infected in those weeks before finally being tested positive.

I'm not lying, why would I? Makes no logical sense. It's so easy to dismiss or try and discredit the truth by calling it a lie because the truth and logic doesn't fit your opinion or emotional bases belief's. I actually understand that, I deal with child psych. patients daily, when you lack a strong emotional foundation that undermines evidence based view points then calling names and being angry is all a person can fall back on.
