Northwest MO ST vs Mizzou

NW could possibly beat Mo St. That'd be a pretty good matchup. But Mizzou would beat NWMSU by at 4 touchdowns.

Agree

What alot of people don't understand is Northwest is an attractive place for D1 transfers cause there no waiting period.

They have some kids that tranfer from D1 schools because they dont see a path to starting at D1 school. Northwest has been good at finding those type of kids.

7 on 7 it might be a game. lol but MU lineman would dominate if full team.
Please do not be ridiculous. The notion that even a game of 7 on 7 would be close is ludicrous. Not to take away from smaller schools but the difference in talent and speed from top to bottom on the two rosters in question is very LARGE.

Let's all just agree... Northwest is very good and MIZZOU is terrible (right now)...

The difference between D1 and D2 is immense. I can't imagine that NW Missouri State would stay within 50 of Missouri State for example. No offense to them and the success they have had in the MIAA, but the gap between that and the MVFC is a large one.
Northwest would beat Missouri State more often than not. The MIAA is equal to or better than some of the mid major D1 conferences. I'm by no means saying Northwest could beat North Dakota State, but in no recent history would the MSU bears win the MIAA conference. That league produces some pretty good NFL Talent for a Division II conference. MSU wouldn't beat Northwest this year, or last year, and they definitely wouldn't beat Pitt either the previous few years before that. Traditionally the league is tough top to bottom.

I have a ton of respect for Pitt State, Northwest Missouri State and the whole MIAA. That being said I watched the 2016 Bears go toe to toe with NDSU for almost three quarters. I watched some of the Ferris State/Northwest game and I didn't see anybody on their defense like Dylan Cole. I would love to see MSU or SEMO play Northwest though.

If, shoulda, woulda, coulda, I guess the only real, that would be based on fact and not perceived knowledge, would be for the teams to actually play.

The MIAA is nothing like the Valley.

I wasn't bashing the Valley. I was making a statement that MSU wouldn't win the MIAA. Most years the top 4-5 teams out of the Valley would compete very well with a lot of smaller Division I programs, and Northwest would be in Top 3 in this conference more often than not. In reality The Valley and MIAA recruit a lot of the same kids. It's not like we are talking SEC athletes. There are exceptions, but for the most part athletes are comparable between the top half of the MIAA, and middle portion of the Valley.

Back in the day, weren't Northwest and SMS in the same conference?

Yes they were, MSU was at one time part of the MIAA. They left when they went FCS which was D1AA back then and joined the Gateway Conference
