Game was tied at 12 after one quarter, PH led 23-22 at the half and went on to win 54-44. Don't have any stats from the game, just someone texting me those scores. I would like to have watched that game but went to SI for some Black River League Tournament action instead. With the way the weather turned out I'm glad I got home early enough to beat the freezing rain. I wouldn't have if I had gone to PH. It was a mess around PB this morning but the ice is melting fast with the sun shining and temps above freezing now.

North County shot the ball really well in the first half. They are a really good team. They are probably a point guard away from being REALLY good. They slowed the pace of the game down in the first half which gave the Lady Rebs some problems. The turning point of the game was the end of the first half. Central went from being down 4 to up 1 in about 10 seconds. The second half was pretty much all Lady Rebs. This is the worst game I've seen Central play in about 2 years. They were sloppy with the ball and missed a lot of open shots. Hopefully they got a bad game out of their system or maybe they were a little gassed from having 4 really tough games in the span of a week. NC played well and is well coached. They have 2 really nice players. Their game plan to slow down the pace was pretty well thought out. If this is the typical up and down the floor game that Central likes to play, I think the margin of victory would have been wider.
I would agree on those thoughts. I assume Forbes is one of the players you referred to, who helped her out last night, Eaton? At Jackson she had very little help.

I thought the Binkard girl played well along with Forbes. NoCo had an excellent plan going in and executed it well for the most part. The supporting cast struggled last night for the Rebs. They didn't finish at the rim and didn't shoot free throws well, but they are young and I imagine a little worn down from the last week. I don't know if it was the worst game they've played in two years, but it was definitely far from their best. A lot of that has to be a tip of the hat to North County and their game plan which was well thought out and well coached. North County is a good team that could be really salty if they had a true point guard.
