I've believed for a while now the Dems used Biden to unite around to stop Bernie but would ultimately use the convention to install someone else. Cuomo appears to be their great hope. This shutdown will likely be the tool used to do it.
Biden simply can't be the nominee. Gaffes are one thing but, half the time you can't even tell what Biden was trying to say. When he says what he thinks, you think he is out of his mind.

Yes. He's the scheme now. He's on tape saying the Whitehouse has given him everything, now he is pretending the WH has a store room of ventilators.
I think for the most part a Cuomo has done a pretty good job in this crisis and while Biden foes and says weird thing in his sisterwifes basement Cuomo has been front and center.

Right now, Trump has sucked all the air out of this thing and Biden is irrelevant. It isn't really his fault, no one is talking about the election. This is really the best thing for Biden since stumping isn't what he needs to be doing or in his best interests. I just can't see him making it to election day as the nominee. It would be a worse slaughter than Bernie.
The election isn’t for months. What we will learn is the election process doesn’t need to be that long. There should be able to be the remaining Dem primaries in June. Biden is a train wreck but besides Cuomo there is no other Democrat getting any good press. Had this happened prior to Super Tuesday I could have seen another candidate get drafted. If Biden were to drop out then Bernie would expect the nomination as would his supporters.
Obv it is the main transportation system, but wouldn’t it make sense to have shut down the subway system? Close quarters, crowded full of people, dirty, etc. A virus’s dream hangout one would think.

LOL Cuomo wouldn't let the mayor of New York order a shelter in place, I remember watching him say only he had the power to make that decision. If he would have stayed out of it and let the Mayor make that order New York probable would not be in the issue they are now.

How are they saying the same thing? Trump says he doesn't beleive they need 30,000 ventilators. He will NEVER admit when he's wrong!
I don't have to know, I could NOTHING about if I did. Trump doesn't have to know but he should have someone telling him the facts that does know instead of brushing it off because the governors aren't aways gushing over him.
BBC article that anticipates that the UK will need 30,000 ventilators at the peak of the outbreak, nationwide. Unless NY has about 350,000 cases occurring simultaneously they will not likely need that many ventilators. At worst Trump is being optimistic but he is probably correct.
What I heard today is the issue is this virus requires up to 20 days on a vent, most issues they are used for require about a week. That means one is tied up for a longer time so you will need more to keep up with it. I ain't a governor or a doctor so I don't know but I doubt Cuomo just pulled this number out of thin air.
I was doin stuff outside today. Guess I missed that one but I'd bet 30,000 will be lot closer to the number than 4000.

You have heard a whole bunch of stuff I haven't but like I said yard work for other people and GunSmoke reruns on TV have taken priority for me on good weather days.
IF you were open to the truth, Trump didn't say they wouldn't need 30,000 but they don't need 30,000. The ones they got (4000) aren't being used yet and another 4000 are on the way.

Once AGAIN, he said they didn't.....and the don't! He didn't say they won't. But, you aren't interested in the truth.
I don't care what else happened, he did say he doesn't think they need them which what you were telling me didn't happen. It remains to be seen if they do or not. YOU don't know nor do I. Time for me mow grass by day, if it ever stops raining every day or two, and watch old westerns at night. Too much of this stuff is bad for my health and well being.
