Founding members of the new league are going to be Billings, Crane, Greenwood, Marion C. Early, New Covenant Academy, Pleasant Hope, and Spokane starting in 2024-2025 season.

What does this do to the remaining 4 teams in the SWCL? Should be a decent basketball conference.

Blue Eye, Galena, Southwest, and Purdy? Can they go it alone with only four? (would make home and home each year possible)... Would the Southwest Conference be a possiblity?

No word as of yet, but joining another conference is a possiblity or merging the SWCL with another conference also maybe considered.

I would think not the Southwest because of football. Mark Twain or Ozark 7 merger or teams leave possibly?

The teams left in the SWCL should add the following schools: Exeter, Hurley, Verona, and Wheaton. It makes a lot of sense geographically.

To me what makes sense is Exeter, Verona, and Wheaton from Ozark 7 to SWCL.

Ozark 7 adds Greenfield, Jasper, Liberal, and Lockwood to make the Ozark 8.

Makes sense. So it won't happen.
