I am no fan of ND but if they run the table they will be in the playoff and will deserve to be. UCLA also beat Virginia by 16 so does that make Boise a top 10 team?
Rosen's numbers after the opening game are not good. I just know this. Boise totally outclassed Virginia. ND did not.
I wish we could outlaw polls until week 7 or so.

5 turnovers including interception for a touchdown on the very first play against Boise had a little to do with it. Virginia also had a bad call on intentional grounding in the endzone. Just one of those games nothing went right. Agree with FROG if ND runs the table they are more than likely in......
Did you watch the game as I did or just read the rundown? I just love hearing the opinion of someone who didn't see the line play and physical domination.
ND game yes Boise no. So your right, ND won but it shouldnt count because they didnt get 5 turnovers. Their line isnt as dominant nor is UCLAs so since they only scored 34 and 35 points they suck. Well Michigan must be freakin awesome because Boises only loss is to BYU whose getting smoked 31-0 to Michigan. Of course Im not watching that game either so who knows maybe Michigan has great line play and are showing physical domination unlike their Utah game I did watch. Comparing results on a one game scenario is silly IMO. Matchups matter. Over 4 or 5 games though it can tell some things

Anybody who isn't a ND hater can see they play a schedule that is tough every year. They might not have that mighty SEC Least schedule(you know the one where Mizzou beat zero ranked teams and still won the conference division)

Entertaining how ND is such a burr under your saddle. Historically, there is very little in common between Mizzou and ND. ND has stronger academics, better student profile, more athletic championships, arguably more high profile alumni, a larger by multiples endowment, a national following, their own television contract, etc.
Mizzou has had a nice little football run in the last 10 years or so, has a very good coach, sells out the stadium more often than not, has a nice campus, a good academic profile, and is in a financially nice position with its new conference. Why don't you enjoy your own positives? I'd be surprised if Mizzou was ever a topic on a ND board.

ND is only a topic on every board in America because generations of fans have been brainwashed into believing there is some kind of mystique about them. NBC has been the most guilty. The media recruits for ND. And by the way based on several metrics used to measure these things, you completely over rate the academics at ND.
One school versus a whole conference? Come on Veer your better than that. Are you only good if you WIN a National Championship? Having a very good record in multiple sports but not winning it all doesn't mean you don't have a great program.
If Nd is playing crap what exactly has Mizzou played the last 4 wks. Maybe the Tigers would like to play Central Methodist or Missouri Valley. I guarantee Mizzou is not a topic on the ND board.

I started this thread. It has nothing to do with Mizzou or the SEC. It was strictly about how over rated ND is year after year. It is frustrating how narrow minded, immature people turn every thread about college football into an attack on Mizzou. Discuss why ND is or is not over rated. Umass, Virginia, Ga. Tech, Texas. NONE of them are good teams right now. ND has beaten no one yet and should not be rated so high. This is exactly why I dislike them and their admirers.
