I only peeked at that OU-MU game that was DREADFUL. 5-7 inbound in Norman.
Watched the whole game. Mizzou played well in the second half when they figured out they couldn't win with just the ground game. Defense also played well but had trouble stopping the run. A Mizzou win over OU is always going to be special.

Who remembers when it was the "peace pipe" rivalry? As for OU this is beginning to feel like those dreaded 90s hope I am wrong.

Drew Allar has more football talent in his pinky finger than you do in your entire body! Brady Cook? HA! NICE TRY!!
Brady Cook and Drew Allar are basically the same person. If their o-line dominates mediocre opponents, they are functional. But you ask them to win the game for you vs a powerful opponent and you are spittin in the wind.

Read about the peace pipe rivalry on wiki. Didn't know about it. Each school had a group that would meet at halftime to share the pipe and the group from the winning school would keep the pipe until the next season. Ended around 75. Oklahoma let Missouri keep the pipe after ties because they so rarely won it. OU is 67-25-5 all time and MU hasn't won in Norman since 1966.

We have won two in a row, though.

Trade you schedules , LardyBoy.
So the general argument is that Penn State only plays one "real" team. That being Ohio State. MY PENN STATE NITTANY LIONS lost 20-13. A close game, most would argue. Now MU. MU has played two "real" teams. LOSING 41-10 to Texas A&M and 34-0 to Alabama. HA!!! At least MY PENN STATE NITTANY LIONS showed up to the game!!! NICE TRY, MU!!!

The streak in Norman will end unless some big changes happen at OU.

We won in como in 2010, lost in Norman in 2011, then won again last weekend, so we’ve actually only won one in a row.

The top 4 seeds will be the conference champs: Oregon (Big10), Texas (SEC), BYU (Big12) and SMU (ACC). Next will be ND (11-1) at #5, Penn St (11-1) and Indiana (11-1) will probably be 6 and 7. Ohio St could be 11-2 if they lose to Oregon in the champ game, dropping them to 8. #12 will be the G5 (UNLV? Idk).

That only leaves 3 spots for seeds 9-11. If Tennessee goes 11-2 (losing to Texas in the SEC champ game), they’ll probably get in as SEC #2, but they’ll have to beat Georgia first and they could end up 10-3 if they lose that game, which won’t get them in the playoff. It’s possible Miami finishes with 1 loss if they don’t make the ACC champ game. No matter what, there will be at least 2 two-loss teams (maybe 3) fighting it out for seeds 9-11. The SEC may be the best overall conference, but they will have cannibalized themselves and probably will only have one team finish 11-1.

WOW how long has it been since the Ponies of SMU have been in a conversation like this?

Washington State and Boise could both finish 11-1. What big win did ND get to warrant their inclusion?

Don’t shoot the messenger. ND is getting in at 11-1, and both of us know it.

Boise or UNLV takes the 12 seed, but only one will get in.

Washington St at 11-1 will be in the mix for seeds 9-11. Will be a scramble with some 2-loss teams from P4 conferences.
