Mueller files first charges..now we know why the hillary thing

I heard last night that if the person, or persons, indicted say they want to cooperate with the special council the indictment may not be opened so Miller will get to claim 'fake news' because no one will show up on the news as being the one indicted.
Now this morning another report says Manafort will turn himself in today. This is one that will most likely have nothing to do with the Trump campaign, other than the the fact they didn't vet their campaign staff very well. The charges against him will likely be something about tax returns and/or money laundering.
I still haven't figured why people keep talking about possible 'collusion' in this investigation when from the beginning it's been said that collusion is NOT illegal, unethical maybe not illegal. This prosecutor is looking for people who broke the law.
manafort and his buddy indicted. Papadopolous rolled.

Delicious appetizer.

If its a sealed indictment the person who leaked it committed a felony and needs in prison
Odds are pretty decent the leak came from someone on the defense side, since they would have been informed in advance that Manafort and Gates needed to turn themselves in.

Papad one was much more interesting. Manafort feels like he's not cooperating and they want to turn the heat up on him.

Flynn silence remains fascinating given the reporting he may have flipped.

Still, we have like 5% of the information we need to fairly evaluate what Mueller has and is doing. Too early to draw conclusions. So many questions even about what they did? Why was the Papad one released today? Etc.

Also, reading this Manafort stuff...what hubris. You made $75 M! Just register and report the money for tax purposes. Jeez.

What a greedy fool.

The tough question remains why did he go to work for Trump? It was bound to put the spotlight on his past. Maybe he was delusional, but the most logical answer is not a good one for him or Trump.

Wait Neuty!! Too early to draw conclusions We need to lock her up it's been 10 years and many dollars to find very little. Oh wait you are talking about Mr. Trump's administration. It is hard to reconcile why a multimillionaire with deep ties to Russia would take a job as trump’s campaign manager.
Because the people who paid him the first few millions offered to keep paying him millions?

Because he was actually in debt to the people who paid in him the first place and this was his way to work out of it?

Because he wanted to be close to the Presidency/US political power?

All yes.

I'm still confused by this also. All you see on TV, Twitter, etc. is collusion, collusion, collusion. But, again, that is not illegal. I guess because it's easier to say that when you don't know any specifics of laws being broken.

Not only is it not illegal and I doubt that Mr. Trump will take a hit on any of this because his minions will fall on the sword for him. Still it just adds to how bad this guy is as a President. He is down to 33% and dropping. I wish Mexico would hurry up and make that down payment on the wall. Trumpcare seems to be working well. I'm really glad Pence signed a bill that will make it possible for banks, and credit card companies to screw the common man at will

They found some laws that were being broken AND a campaign connection to the Russians.

They haven't got around to Trump's tax returns yet.

Eh, it depends upon what collusion means. Some things could be illegal.
