Since the coverage of high school sports in now uniformly the same for all MSHSAA sports. The Show-me bowl football games, are now on par with band, badminton, lacrosse, soccer and other country clubs sports. Thanks MSHAA for making everything fair, balanced and politically correct. I'm quite sure they will say it's cost effective, but this blows.
I'm well......not suprised. Why should football have a "different coverage"? What a bunch of crap. On-line coverage.

So, it's true there's no FSMW coverage this year? Jesus...

Anyone know if the webcasts will be archived? There's no way I'll be able to watch them all live.

I don't know for certain, but, if MSHSAA is going to charge a daily, monthly, etc rate to watch any event on their site, I would imagine nothing is archived to view for free later. Hope I'm wrong. I just went from setting up shop with a bowl of cashews, leftover turkey sammiches and all you can consume beverages in the living room for two straight days of feet kicked up free high school football watching to trying to figure out how to jack with buffering HDMI ppv coverage. Shhtooopid.

Oh holy hell, didn't know it was PPV. Hope one doesn't have to watch it live. I'm more than willing to pay, just won't be available to watch it live Friday. Thanks for the info.

Now just a question, but what about the teams that already broadcast their games on radio and City link TV will they still be able to do that or will that not be allowed?

I believe they will on radio but they won't be able to on video. There's already a 500$ cost to video broadcast playoff games but I bet since they have a deal to broadcast them on their own site, I'm betting they won't want anyone else to do it for free and lose their money.

If it changes to where u have to pay either way (at the gate for fans in attendance, or online for those who can't make it), and to keep things fair and equitable, then mshsaa must start rotating the finals to other parts of the state.

This I agree with, to hard and costly for some of us to pack up take of a few extra days of work and miss family to drive over halfway across the state to watch the games. So it was nice that it was televised. But if they are not going to televise it they need to move it around like they did in the past or to a central location so all of us high school football fans can have a chance to enjoy the games.

I guess you haven't heard - the games are available to watch on TV...if you want to connect your laptop to your TV after paying for the stream. :D
