Rockwood School District (Marquette, Eureka, Rockwood Summit and Lafayette) have already announced that they're playing. Desmet has joined those four schools as of last night. Today Lindbergh and the entire Parkway School District (Parkway North, South, West and Central) will announce that they will join as well. These teams will being playing football games outside the county on October 2nd. CBC, Chaminade, Vianney are among others who are rumored to be heavily leaning towards playing.

I'd love to know how the booster clubs at these STL schools are handling this. Reading about everything that's going on, any good booster club president should see it as a prime opportunity to raise some "funds" for your "team."

"Never let a good crisis go to waste."

The question still remains about the smaller schools of Lutheran North and Trinity Catholic. I am hearing they plan to play but I am not seeing anything in stone yet. Anyone know anything on this yet?

And buy plenty of TP for the bad failing coaches that don't know how to beat their rivals?

Where I keep the 40-second clock they have done a good job of very few fans all players on the sidelines were a mask. The away team is allowed 4 people per player and must have vouchers. Absolutely no students are allowed unless they are related. I feel safe there. Jefferson county people refuse to comply so they are at level red. Herky and Jefferson's football is shut down. They have had numerous positive cases in the county and their schools, so sad the adults can't act with responsibility and the kid suffer. I have a very good friend, his daughter teaches in one of the schools and she is terrified because the parents won't wear a mask, won't social distance and the county just keeps getting more cases and deaths. So sad people are so selfish for other people.

Yet, strangely enough, I go to games with a lot of people in the stands wearing masks...myself included...and I feel safe. See how that feeling thing works? It's pretty subjective...I'd say kids are currently suffering because there are rules in place that hinder their development in regards to a virus that has virtually no effect on them. And said virus certainly isn't deadly to them.

Just heard that the Archdiocese of Saint Louis told Trinity no football.

Just Trinity and no other Archdiocese teams?
It would be any Archdiocese school that is owned and operated by the Archdiocese. There are others but the key portion is ownership. In that matter Trinity, Bishop Dubourg, and St. Mary's would fall into that category when considering Football in St. Louis County

Ritter is not playing football already.... The rest are not OWNED and OPERATED by the Archdiocese. They are just affiliated with them.
Trinity did not declare for spring so is the Archdiocese going to allow them to play if the county states it’s ok?
