If you are playing in class "3", be on notice... Montgomery County is for real...OO
Clayton Parker the 6-8 senior has many D-1 schools wanting him. He tallied 30 pts tonight..
This team is balanced A to Z and well coached.
Enjoy the games... C =/~

Montgomery 14-36-53-70
Mexico ------ 12-24-43-56

Helps when you get a class 6 all-state player move in and MSHSAA lets him play too. Kind of crazy his sister still attends his former school.

My understanding is, they have owned a home in Montgomery County for years but the kids attended Troy because the parents taught there. The daughter elected to stay at Troy, Andrew chose to enroll at Montgomery County. Not crazy at all.

This is accurate.

Owned a home or land? It is still a transfer because Troy was not what it was. Period. So yeh it is crazy. But, unfortunately the way of hs sports these days. Reason why kids do not stick it out in college and hit the portal. But hey what do I know.

your right you don't know, they've owned a home there for years. I just know about this because of some people from that area, I really don't care where the kid plays, He helps Montgomery but they had 4 starters coming back from last years finial 4 team, he does make them better. The bottom line is they've paid taxes in that school district for years and if he choose to go to Montgomery he has that right. His sister has the right to stay at Troy because her parents teach there.

See what Lebron has done.... Everyone wants to create these all star teams to win a title iinstead of working for it. Thats the bottom line.

This might be the dumbest statement. You say that about the football player who transfered to BO from Southern Boone? Sit this one out.
LOL. The whole family in that situation sold their home, bought a home and moved to in district of BO I believe. That is a move by the books. I believe that young man was injured and BO won the title too btw. Super team has been in place before the move in. LOL

You stated "everyone wants to win a title instead of working for it" Weird Flex.

And this family has lived in the Montgomery County district already...so not sure what the issue is.

Yea, he states that one family did a entire move, and that is ok, but the family that has lived in the school district the enitre time is not. Make it make sense.

They lived in Troy. Sold their home there and played for Troy for 3 years. Already committed to a D-2 school, so why the move? That is all I am asking? Your sr year at that. Maybe because of summer basketball?

I am just saying. more times than not now days, kids move to win. It happens everywhere.

Again, they did not live in district the whole time. Had a house in Troy. Sold house and moved back to MoCo and 1 kiddo stayed at Troy because parents work in district. ALL LEGAL. My question is again, why the move for the sr year? Make it make sense that you do not understand.

Just revisit your comment about hork hard where you're at and not join a super team like LeBron. But, when I bring up the BO kid you get defensive.

Not defensive at all. Maybe he moved for that reason, but it is a totally different scenario than the one we were talking about.

Here again, this is what I was told, so it's second hand. I was told that they rented a home in Troy and that home was sold. They owned the home in Montgomery County and moved into the home they owned. I guess you wouldn't have had a problem if the sister had enrolled at Montgomery, Troy should be happy she wanted to stay there. I'm sure there may be other factors but I don't know the family, do you?

It is what it is... I do know a little more than you think.
