McDonald County graduated a lot of their best kids so it makes sense.
Yeah it is a sad day around here, took almost everyone by surprise Uhl is well respected and Loved by many in the community. But I totally respect his decision and totally understand.
Hoover would be good, But don't forget about Tyler Rickard, Monett Grad, was at Monett 5 years then was a Kearney for 2 years and now head coach at Wright City for the last two, he would be good. Heard some talking about trying to get Bailey...I am sure the Money would be great for him but now sure he wants to rebuild again, to me that would be a long shot? There are some other names that were crazy to me...however Monett's pay should attract a decent candidate pool.
I Don't know how you heard that? Uhl's decision took the entire school board and Administration by surprise.
Honestly I don't know that answer.
I know our junior class has pretty much started the last two years, so next year really could be a decent year, they have really good numbers.
I would think Monett could grab a pretty decent hire. It's one of the nicer non-suburban small towns in this region and the facilities and community are all above average in my opinion.
Outside of the drug trafficking, and giant percentage of illegals that don't speak English, it's a great place!

@BoosterBosko I have been known to smoke a few Ribs, cook some hotdogs have a keg of the finest all pool side for our coaches.... So any football coaches thinking about coming to Monett just ask to be pointed to ole Bullit and I will fix you up. We don't flatten coaches tires around here we just go over to my house after the game which is stocked with the finest cold beverages, White claw for those young pups... and then eat whatever ol Bullit has on the smoker and just talk about the game all pool side.
White Claws? And Kane thinks the Mox is a little limp wristed? Not sure what kind of coaches you got there drinking White Claws, but maybe Kane needs to meet them, or Bosko needs to have a little chat with them. The Mox does NOT approve.
