Forfeit on the freshman game; the first game was supposed to be Carthage's 9th VS. Monett's 9th, but Monett elected to play a C Team with 3 sophomores instead against Carthage's freshmen team. Carthage's Girls are doing the same thing and forfeiting their freshmen season to play a C Team instead due to lack of numbers.
Assuming Carthage beats Mac county and goes 1-2 in the Jenks tourney, they’ll be 9-4 in non-con. Any chance they win 4 COC games to finish .500?
Lebanon, Waynesville, Neosho and Joplin seem to be the most beatable of the other 13 teams. They've beaten Webb City already, but the return trip is on the road. I think they can secure at least 5 conference wins at worst to finish above .500 on the year.
I guess if thats what the teams decided to do. A number of teams are playing C teams instead of only 9th now. But that is just how it is, usually no forfeits involved.
they will finish above .500 in the COC west probably not their overall COC record. however, that works now.
They would likely need to sweep the 3 Joplin area teams and then take 1 out of 3 against Willard, Republic and Parkview to finish 4-2 in the West. Not impossible, but little margin of error. I meant that they would likely go about 5-8 in the COC and around 14-12 overall, but a lot of games could go either way depending on how they play that night.
