How is the recruiting going in KC? With the upheavals at kU and kSU you would think KCK and Johnson County would be hit hard by Mizzou's recruiters.
How many of these guys had offers from Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma,???
You think Mizzou would have a tougher time recruiting a Johnson county player because his home state universities are not nearly as good an option as the Tigers? We’re KU and Kstate having much success in KC? I’d think things got tougher for Mizzou in KC?

Missouri State is out-recruiting Mizzou in Kansas City Bahahaha
That says more about the kids than it does about Mizzou. Before you ask, no I will not elaborate on that.
I said got tougher, didn't say anything more than that. If you don't think Kansas is going to get better at any level to what they were doing, you're crazy.
There is no reason Mizzou shouldn't control Kansas/Missouri with recruits, other than the rare Alabama commit.
The top recruits from the KC metro on the MIssouri side, that have committed so far are going to:
1. Clemson
2. University of Miami
3. Northwestern
4. Iowa
5. Iowa St.
6. Miami of Ohio
7. Northwestern
8 Indiana St,
9 Missouri St.
Not all “offers” are committable. Schools offer more scholarships than they have available every year. A kid can’t verbally commit to an offer unless the college allows him to do so ... even though verbal commitments don’t count. It’s not close to being legit until that fax is signed and received on Wednesday.

You are assuming Mizzou wanted the players that committed to Missouri State, or should want those players.
Considering Missouri State is essentially a D2 program masquerading as an FCS program, it's essentially like saying Mizzou got out-recruited by Missouri Western because a bunch of KC area players committed to Missouri Western. Who cares?
Considering the lack of success at Missouri State over the last 20 years, I would be infinitely more concerned if Mizzou was recruiting the same players that Missouri State was recruiting.
Unnecessary, it is pretty self-explanatory.Elaborate! Elaborate!
You are missing the point...Missouri can't get the good in-state recruits...they go somewhere else.

They get some they miss more.
Drew Lock
Sheldon Richardson
Blaine Gabbert
Marcus Lucas
Wes Kemp
William Moore
Cale Garrett
They get some good ones in state.
On the flip side
Montee Ball
Ezekiel Elliot (does he count? Lived in IL)
Hale Hentges
Everyone in last year's class...
last years class parker jr started as a true freshmen...not everyone. a traditional mediocre program isnt going to compete well when bluebloods come calling. then some kids just wanna get away. Missouri is geographically challengedfor high level recruits, not like the south I.e. georgia, florida or Alabama. Missouri on average doesn't produce many d1 kids as well. they just have to build relationships and win win win. even then they'll never be an ou,bama,USC etc etc.
If Mizzou locked down the boarders (East St Louis as well) and get their usual cherry pick guys from Texas, Georgia, Tennessee etc they’d be a perennial top 20 team year in and year out. They aren’t far out as they’re probably like a top 40 program. But it starts and ends with Locking up St Louis.last years class parker jr started as a true freshmen...not everyone. a traditional mediocre program isnt going to compete well when bluebloods come calling. then some kids just wanna get away. They don't have to be Bama, Michigan, or OU. But they could be an Oregon, TCU, or Clemson. Clemson is traditionally an underachieving if not solid program, but they've turned into a monster.
Mizzou doesnt have another FCS school to compete against. Lock down the borders and keep the premium talent we do produce (and yeah I get that we dont pump them out like Florida, Georgia, or Louisiana, but we dont hurt for talent) and you can get where I think Mizzou wants to be.

are you really trying to compare mizzous recruiting geography with Oregon TCU and clemson...wow. add to that sans TCU facilities of Clemson and Oregon's are far above mizzous. Oregon has California next to it with millions in Nike monies. TCU in Texas pumps out d1 talent like nobody's biz and ........clemson???? really clemson???? lol lol lol
You realize I'm not ripping Mizzou right?
Oregon is next to California on the map yes, but they're 5 to 6 hours from the talent center in southern California. Oregon itself puts out one or two D1 caliber kids per year.
My POINT including Oregon was that they weren't a traditional power who has managed to have over a decade of upper echelon success despite not being a "blue blood".
Quit being so sensitive, I'm on your side.
Wow!!
Mizzou set for the next 3 years with a proven power 5 qb. Might draw a in-state prospect or two?

Two 2020 in-state QBs are verbal commits to MIZZOU right now. Cook from Chaminade and Hagins from Ritter. I’ll be surprised if they hold onto Cook. He REALLY struggled this season. Especially against Lutheran North.
Might cause Bezelak to reconsider his commitment.
If I'm a high school kid and I see the college I've committed to scramble hand over fist to get not one, but two transfer QBs, I'd start to wonder what commitment that school actually has to me...
And if I'm the coach at said school, I'd want to coach the kid who will be there 3 to 5 years. Not pray the one year wonder works out...
