THE OZARKS
22-18 Mizzou leads at the end of 1.

Slaughter has 7 pts.

SLU went on I think a 10 pt run to pull within 1 at the end of the quarter, but Judd hit a big 3 in the final seconds to stretch the lady tigers lead to 4

Mizzou sure is racking up some fouls quick. Hit with a charge on the first possession of 2nd q.

Have multiple girls with multiple fouls.

Judd with back to back buckets to give the lady tigers the 4 point lead and she now leads all scorers.

53-47 after a Dembele score

Slaughter with a buzzer beater from deep to end the 3rd Q

She’s got 18 now and the tigers lead 64-57 headed into the final frame

93-85 final.

The defending Atlantic10 champs take down Mizzou for the 2nd time in school history.

Judd fouled out with 21 points
She is now averaging just shy of 21 to lead the team.
Slaughter also finished with 21

Dembele fouled out with 13 pts, 14 assists, and 8 rebounds.

1 bad game. Guess they should just pack it in.
Didn’t say anything about packing it in. Just commenting that SLU beating Mizzou is not a big upset. I just don’t think Mizzou is that good. And until they get rid of Pingeton they won’t be very good.

I tend to agree with Come. No slight to these ladies. Judd Frank and Slaughter are all really good. But Mizzou does not have enough to really compete night in and night out in the SEC with the talent level at the top.

I believe SLU is 2-24 against Mizzou. I mean, but sure,

I agree with that, but I still think they have the “potential” to finish in the top half of the conference.
And with the talent they have between Judd and the current freshman, that would be something to build on for next year. I’m holding out hope for now.

Somebody might want to start packing... Just saying

I think Pingeton will be packing. Could Molly Miller be packing to return to Missouri, leaving Grand Canyon behind?

They’ve got too much young talent(Judd, Slaughter, and Schraeke) and seasoned veterans(Frank, Dembele) for this season to be wasted.

Anyone else notice that everytime Frank moves up on the Mizzou all-time scoring list, she’s a 5th year player passing up a 4-year player.

Good for her, but it just seems like it kind of takes a some of the meaning away from it. Maybe it’s just me.

With the "covid year" that everyone was given that is happening at a lot of places. Heck, look how close Antoine Davis got to breaking Pistol Pete's all-time scoring record.

It shouldn’t, but it definitely irritates me.

It’s like: “oh, well she had an extra 30 games to set this record”

Lets face it:
a. Not a good judge of talent.
b. Not a good recruiter.
c. One of the least able coaches in the SEC.

Do we really have any leadership in the Athletic Department over there, in relation to women's basketball? That's a rhetorical question.
