It appears the Missouri Tigers are about a 3 point favorite playing on the road tonight @ Central Florida.
The Missouri coaching staff is working E. J. Liddell 6'7" Junior from Belleville West. The Missouri Tigers have offers on the table on 2-3 other East-Side players. Counzo will make it or go broke with East Side recruiting.

Missouri has signed T. Watson 6'4" from class 3 Whitfield in St. Louis County. It is unclear if the # 1 rated player in Missouri, Courtney Ramey 6'4" from Webster Groves will consider the Missouri Tigers.

I have seen Torrence play on multiple occasions. It will explain why Mizzue is an also ran, if they sign him

If the Missouri Tigers are to become a top 25 team, I believe they need to recruit the top players out of Kansas City, St. Louis and sometimes recruit a special player from rural Missouri. Torrence Watson is not the top basketball senior in St. Louis and he's no Fred Thatch from Sikeston.

Recruiting on the East St. Louis side can be a plus but once again only the top players can help move the Missouri Tigers toward a top 25 ranking. Coach Underwood and Illinois will also be recruiting the top 1-2 players over there. Some years St. Louis and the east side may not have a worthy player.

Missouri got a road win tonight @ Central Florida and moves to 6-2. I wish other Missouri supporters would comment on the game and give insight. Missouri best two reliable offensive players are seniors Barnett and Robertson. Who are the recruits to take their place.

I must agree with eaglesalumni on his report on Torrence Watson. Missouri State or SEMO might be a better fit for Torrence. I hope I'm wrong on this one.

No one said Watson is the best player in St. Louis, I think he's rated a 3 star recruit. You need to remember Marcus Denmon was a 3 star recruit. I think Thatch is also rated a 3 star and is ranked below Watson in the state of Missouri. Your not going to get every 4 or 5 star kid, you can only hope these 3 star guy's can develop like Denmon.

Mizzou is headed in the right direction. Jontay and Tillman are both going to be star players for at least 2 years before they are NBA ready Harris is logging more minutes every game at point. The remaining cast of characters is ok to solid so once they get the confidence to finish teams off they should be fine. Took a big step last night as it looked like they might let another one slip away until Phillips banked in that 3. Go Mizzou!

I know the rankings systems can't always be trusted but Torrance Watson is an ESPN Top 70 player. That makes it hard for me to believe that what you guys are saying about him is true.

Fred Thatch is a great high school player with a great motor. But he's only 6-2 and as of right now, can't be counted upon to reliably shoot the basketball. He is not a kid that Mizzou needs to be handing a scholarship out to.

Solid win for Mizzou last night on the road. They had to grind it out. As for scoring, Barnett, Puryear, Robinson and Tilmon will have to shoulder the scoring load for Mizzou.

I’m all for recruiting players that will help Mizzou win. I don’t care where they come from.
