Wanna take a guess on how many trophies my Steelers have!?

Except most studies say the opposite.

Given equal conditions, public schools provide better educations.

Feel free to post any study that you found. I also said "USUALLY", did I not.

Two years ago I had to go to two graduations. One was my nephew and second was my niece. One went to a private school, and the other the local public school. The private school had 136 kids in it, and the announced that out of all those kids there was awarded over 2 million in scholarships. In the public school out of over 300 kids there was just under 1 million in scholarships. That being said, there are some very very good students in both in our public and private institutions.

private schools pick and choose who they let in. they don't allow kids in that won't get scholarships. You're comparing apples to jetplanes.

The one study i can remember was done by the university of illinois.

P.S. a big part of getting scholarships is actually applying for them. My oldest got a ton of money because we applied for everything (in addition to his high achievement).

So are you telling me, out of that 300 class they couldn't put together 130 kids that you could compare apples to apples to, to the 130 from the private school?

I think it's worth noting also that high school counselors in public schools are tasked with so much more in the way of fighting to keep kids from dropping out and counseling kids who can't keep it together for one reason or another. Private school counselors are much more likely to have the time to go out there and help those kids nail down scholarships.

I think it should also be noted that not every kid who goes to a private school is a gifted educated minded student. Many each year have to leave because they don't make the grade, just like public schools. There are kids who struggle to pass class, and or have to work their tail off to pass it, just like public schools. Expectations are way higher than they are at public schools though and that is true. And as for as counselors going out there to "nail down scholarships" for their students is the most absurd thing I've heard on here.

Unlike public schools I guess, the kids are expected to go out there and work for their scholarships, they don't and the parents don't expect the counselors to do it for them. If that is what is going on at public schools, then that very well might be the difference in the figures that I listed. Maybe public parents expect that, but it doesn't happen in private schools. Just like in sports. If you sit there and expect the Coach to get you the scholarship you want, you are going about getting a scholarship the wrong way. It isn't the coaches responsibility. That also is on the athletes. YOU reach out to the schools. YOU sign up for their camps. YOU go to the showcases. YOU control what you do in the off season.

So your admitting they can't come up with 130 students equal out of over 300? lol. But the situation I am giving, was a private school in the same district as the public school. Not a st. louis school. But you do realize. Most private schools unless your the ultimate elite, and Im not talking about cbc or desmet, incarnate word ect, there are even more prestigious private schools then them, but most all them, will let about anyone in. But Im sure you don't know that. Seems you don't know a lot of things though.

I dont know many private schools that have no admission process that cuts out iep kids. Or discipline issues.
But i know many that give free tuition to athletes and gifted students

You obviously arent well versed at what public schools offer.

Graduated and coached at the public school. Sent kids and also coached at the private school. Tell me how educated you are between the two? I can name a hell of a lost more private schools that will accept you before they decline you. You do understand the enrollment in catholic schools are down right. Wait. Of course you don't. They need the tuition money to stay afloat. But people like you think they run on unlimited money. Seriously. You are the most stupidest dip s**t on here
