unless University president Tim Wolf resigns or is fired. This is a bold move by Gary Pinkel ( Salaried @ over 3 million per year ) because Dr. Tim Wolf is his boss.
The Missouri Tiger basketball team will play Wofford next Friday evening in Columbia. The black football players ( 4-5 record ) have stated they will not practice or play in games until their demands are met and will boycott any activities which bring in revenue @ the University.
Nothing has been said about the Men"s basketball team joining the protesters but it's possible other sports programs @ Missouri may come to the aid of the black football players and coach Gary Pinkel.

Do we have any MoSports posters who will protest with the Black football players and Gary Pinkel @ the Missouri-Wofford game next Friday evening?

A few of my associates have indicated to me the black football players should be removed from the team, their scholarships relinquished and Gary Pinkel fired if the boycott continues into the Missouri basketball game next Friday and the Missou-BYU football game next Saturday.

What say you?

it's WOLFE...not Wolf..geez

What does Pinkel's salary have to do with anything? What is your fascination with posting salaries on message boards?

One might think a Division I football team playing in Kansas City the next day isn't going to attend a basketball game 120 miles away the night before, nor is their coach in any normal situation, much less this one. Is this relevant?

I was only trying to point out that Pinkel has a lot to lose by going against the president of the university, his boss. According the information @ this time, there will be no football game next weekend unless the players drop their demands of the Missouri University President resigning or being removed. I'm guessing the players will back down and play the a football game this weekend and not boycott events that bring in revenue for the University of Missouri. I'm also guessing the Missouri-Wofford basketball game will be protest free on Friday evening.
Speaking of salaries, Gary Pinkel is the top paid state employee in Missouri. I hope you noticed that I did not repeat Pinkel's salary and I added the " e" on Dr. Tim Wolfe's last name.

Tim Wolfe resigns-It appears the protesters won as life goes on @ the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Tim Wolfe was ' Politically Correct " by giving up his position as University President. I'm guessing the football and basketball games will be played as schedule without interruption

Wonder how hard it will be to find somebody to take a job where a few days of protesting something and making demands actually works? You can bet this ain't the only place this kind of thing will happen now. How can ANY university president feel good about his or her job now?

Or two. Chancellor on the way out too. Can't say as I blame either. Place is an absolute mess.

Wolfe was a victim of this, not loftin. Loftin is hated by almost all the academics at the university. The deans almost unanimously called for his resignation. He was on thin ice way before the protests. He did the face saving move here.
