Missouri Dynasty Rankings 2003 to 2018.

And the only team in MO history to win 7 straight titles (all of which were between those dates, 2003 and 2018) is not listed?

They also believe a LN apparently is better than Lamar after losing a lot more than Lamar. All 3 1,000 yard RBs are gone. Kinda odd. I’d think it’s earned Lamar is 1 in rankings until they are dethroned. Can they lose? Sure. It can happen.

Max preps also has Carl Junction ranked #1 in class 4 and #7 overall in Missouri. The next highest team in class 4 is Webb City at #15. I understand their algorithm doesn't have data yet but not sure how you have Trinity #3 overall in the state when they didn't make the playoffs last year and CJ #7 who also didn't make the playoffs

Blair Oaks will be a real test for Lamar. Excellent team. And they are ranked 5th? Top 4 team in class 3 last year. And I believe they were young. It’s all about “stars” like San said.

Pre-season rankings? That has nothing to do with 15 years worth of results, tabulations, and prognostications...elaborations and Kearney Bulldog Nations...

I wasn't talking about the dynasty rankings . I was talking about the current state rankings they have posted . CJ and Trinity aren't on the dynasty rankings .

I know, but I was replying to Joey who was replying to my comment about Lamar being absent from the dynasty list :D

It’s all about top 1,000 teams they have played I looked to me. And Lamar hasn’t played all that many so it doesn’t compute with Max Preps. If we were to have our own rankings on here Lamar is top 3 easily.

Meh...

I get it, they should just call it “Power Ratings” instead “Dynasty Ratings” then.

I don’t know how
1. Lamar isn’t on the dynasty list
2. WC isn’t #1 when they torched Rockhurst during that same time span.

Anybody have Overall Records during that timespan? Would think that would represent "Dynasty" teams better.

It lists it and Webb is by far the best. Also has by far the best winning % against top 1000 teams . Webb's is 78% 31-9. Next best is 64% in Blue Springs. Most of the rest are under 500 or close to .500

But Webb has a schedule loaded with powder puffs... Granted they have played some big games against big schools. But do that weekly...face a big time team every week..without a break...and thats why they are 3rd... Hell, from 2003 to 2018 Webb has a losing record to Kearney.

Springdale Har-Ber, Bentonville, Jeff City, Memphis Ridgeway , Columbia Rock Bridge , Rockhurst ( whom they scored 80 straight points on ) Columbia Hickman, St . Thomas Aquinas ,, etc ..those weren't 'powder puffs" neither is the COC large who has nixa , Ozark, and Carthage in the final 4 in class 5 almost every year. And I know you don't buy it but cj is one of the best teams Webb plays every year ...

And I say so what? Random games against good schools isn't like having a Class 5 or Class 6 Kansas City area schedule where you have to play Park Hill, Blue Springs, Blue Springs South, and even the mediocre Class 6 teams that are physical. Puuulleease Do yourself a favor...go to the Webb City Football History site and look at those schedules over the past 15 years. Come on man, sometimes they only play like 2 decent teams in the regular season. Average class 4 teams are nowhere near as good or physical as average Class 5 and 6 teams... Maybe in your area...but not in Kansas City.. Hence, you have 7 of the top 10 dynasties from Kansas City.

Ya! The COC schedule Webb City plays just doesn’t even come close to comparing. Just look at how Ozark faired against Lee Sumit We....

Oh wait!

Keep cherry picking examples of one game here or there. It still doesn't matter...Webb is a top team. No one is saying they aren't. Just because they have a losing record to kearney doesn't man they don't have a better dynasty.

I think you have delusions of grandeur.
Urban teams from the KC area seem to generally suck. Bunch of city wussies pushing each other around then bragging about how great they are.

Joey gone fishin'...........

Yeah Staley sucked last year. And so has Blue Springs and Blue Springs South (6 of the last 7 championships they have won or been in.) Real overrated.

Not really. Look at theur schedules and tell me one schedule that Webb has had that comes halfway close to a Blue Springs or Blue Springs South schedule. Fishing? Nope. Fact.
This is sorta off subject but I really like what some of the STL schools are doing. I think it would benefit MO overall to have our top programs play similar sized schools in other parts of the Nation.

But why is Tinity, Class #2, and ranked 52 in Missouri last year playing Colquitt high school, who would be a Smaller Class 6 school in Missouri? They are continually ranked top 8 in the state of Georgia. Shouldn't that be CBC going to that game?

I created an account just to comment on his post, you big city dudes couldn’t be further from the truth, Webb City would steam roll through most of Blue Springs schedule and most years dominate Blue Springs. They kicked the shit out of Rockhurst in a down year. They would dominate because of the coach they have. As soon as Rod leaves the program it will go back into just a solid program and not be a world beater like it’s been.

And yet, Webb still has a losing record to little old Kearney and Excelsior Springs. See how cherry picking works?

Here is last year's stength of schedule ranking. So you folks down South understand, THIS is a RATING of the toughest schedules in 2017 as compiled by Maxpreps:

1. Rockhurst
2. Blue Springs South
3. Ray Pec
4. Lee's Summit North
5. DeSmet
6. Park Hill
7. Jeff City
8. Pattonville
9 LSW
10. CBC
11. St. Louis U
12. Vianney
13. Staley
14. Lafayette
15. Marquette
16. Eureka
17. Lindbergh
18. Liberty, Mo
19. Kirkwood
20. Webster Groves
21. Liberty North (Kansas City)
22. Rockwood Summit
23. Jackson
24. Webb City

I will interpret this for you. Webb is WAY DOWN the LIST. You can cherry pick good victories over certain teams...but so can a lot of other teams. Week in and week out, Webb has a powder puff schedule relative to what the Class 6 teams have to face every week. An early season win agianst Rock? Really? They are a slow starting team anyway. And Blue Springs has beaten them over and over again. Perspective bro. Perspective.

Because max preps LOVES Trinity and so does everyone else. Ask people who recruit these kids and think they are so special. (Which we all know they are mostly overrated) it should be CBC.

Oh and Vienney is playing Fayetteville Ark today. That might be a implied game as well.
