Like I said back three years ago when they announced him KMO hit a home run. I was wrong.................GRAND SLAM. Turned this program around overnight but his work at Raytown, as a brand new HC up from the assistant ranks, was even better! My opinion back in the day was Andy Reid couldn't coach that program up to .500. Minnick had them in the perennial C5 convo almost right away.
Not exaggerating when I say he could well be the top HC in all MO right now. This community is beyond lucky to have him here and the good part is they know it.
Now to steal him when Alley is done is the the real trick. Gonna have to get with @BoosterBosko and figure out some financial schemes. Bahahahaha
The key, like Ray Pec, is would Grain Valley be a step up from Kearney? I "think" you all will be C6 in a few years but KMO could move to C5 in a few years, too.
We will be 6 or have 2 high schools not sure which way they go yet, that is the enticement factor you will have here is C6 surrounded by other good C6 schools and a community that will rally around football. KMO in C5 will be a hard place to leave and very sought after if he does.
The talent pipeline here is strong as well. Heck we've both seen that during GV hosting those youth SBs the past few years.

NO financial schemes here. Were just good as "fund"raising here in Ampipe. And most folks know better than to ask any questions.
Agree 84 was hard to beat.. 91 was not bad... back when we actually we were still spinning on our shifts... some great times.

91 was a great transition year. The big move from freestyle to house/techno plus lots of great rock for events etc. demanding that THEN there was the "boot scooting" Country line dance hit line..................
